Out of 10 platinum games on xbox, 5 are Giant/reapers, one is Glacier/reapers, and the other 4 games are rocket glitches on either Giant/reapers or Glacier/reapers.

if you earned more credits for gold, I could finally play some good games.  So far I e been online 2 hours and played one game of Giant/Reapers, another on Giant/reapers with a missile glitches that I sabotaged with the pizza and he and his host friend dropped out of at 20 seconds left, and then me staying in the game and extracting properly, and another that I fall into in progress in Giant/reapers and left immediately.

What should I do, stop playing?

People are whoring platinum just so they can get better guns... Which is pathetic. If you have a geth shotgun or harrier 1 you're ready to play any difficulty.

Platinum extractions should give you just enough for a jumbo pack.

Gold when pugging, Platinum with friends you know won't missile glitch and can play other maps. I only PUG Platinum if a friend wants to, no need to play something I am not going to enjoy. In the long run you may end up earning more credits on Gold since you won't have to sabotage games (I haven't at least) or quit out as often since there is more variety in maps played (well, that I know of since either I or a friend host U/U).

I don't play for credits; I only play for the challenge. I enjoy u/u/p games because they are the most difficult and challenging. I may as well play bronze if I'm going to play gold

You're taking to a guy that's sabotaged 6 glitcher games in the past 24 hours. I'm jaded. I just want to play some games that don't guarantee an extraction.

Oh, just did a glacier/collectors with two guys. I was sync'd, a batsol was stomped, and a flames vorcha was not able to take down the last scion in a 2 minute battle. I give up for the day :)

So don't use an OP build or weapon and jump into Gold. There are plenty of people looking for a carry still and you can get a decent challenge if you gimp yourself.

Then equip only gear bonus,or not if you want, and play gold with base powers and base weapon damage.

If I don't have at least one friend to pug plat with, it becomes really worthless really fast. I only do it rarely these days.

I don't play plat anymore because 90% of the time, it requires no strategy - just sit 4 OP kits in a corner, spam powers, and don't stop shooting.

Gold offers you the chance to split up and move around without the threat of getting surrounded by banshees, phantoms, and atlases. Overall, I find it more fun.

I know it seems counter-intuitive, but that's just how I feel.

So that only puts the glitcher/camping problem into a different difficulty, and there is more Gold players than Platinum and that would be a even bigger problem. Like I suggested yesterday in your other thread complaining about glitchers, play with friends. Otherwise stick with what your doing,You say you like the challenge.

Hmmm.

I wouldn't want Gold to have higher payouts than Platinum, but that is because I mostly play Gold these days and don't need credits.

For the OP, if hosting games (and setting the maps how you like) yourself isn't an option because of your connection, then I don't really have much in the way of helpful advice. You would basically just need to get some games together with a group of friends. I am on PC, but there was an ok diversity of maps in random Platinum games back when I still played them, even if there usually wasn't a diversity in characters and weapons.

i did this earlier with a tsent and a Valkyrie Rifle and just AR amps. Last night I played a level 8 Paladin and then level 13 after that and people in the lobby were worried to even let me play. People in platinum are the scrubbiest!

i know what you're saying - that's exactly what I like to do on platinum. I like fighting multiple factions and bosses. I should just go back to doing solos.

oh, I do play with bsn people (played some nice games with ZAE last week and play with Mrs anomaly too) but sometimes you just want to take off the mic and not talk to anyone while you run around in a frenzy trying to survive and win, ya know?

I'm going to go drink beer and then find some glitchers to ruin games for. I'll try not to complain anymore

Sounds like you just need to get some friends to play platinum with, OP. Or you could try solo's for a challenge.

Wait for titanfall to come out. Casuals will drop out after that.
