Does the french version of mass effect have english audio and text?

I think it probably does. Games released in the USA are almost always released in Canada at the same time so usually the versions are the same.

If there is a French audio option, it would exist in the US version of the game, and there isn't for Mass Effect.

I heard of people having a French NTSC version of ME1. Don't know how this is handled in the second game. However due to lack of space there will be only one voice lanugage on the discs. So choose which language and then buy the according game.
