Jeff, I skipped your MotA section because I haven't bought it yet, but would you consider it worth $10? I know that's a question that's going to vary from individual to individual, but if you were selling someone on it what would be the highlights?

Mark of the Assassin was worth $10, I would say. It's a romp, more to the form of ME2's Kasumi DLC than anything of an especially serious tone, although like Kasumi it touches on heartfelt themes. Unlike Kasumi you do not acquire a permanent new party member, but also unlike Kasumi the story here isn't over quite so quickly. There are several parts split into a few distinct sections with their own feel. I'm not saying you should feel in awe at its length or anything but it does feel suitably diverse.
The big retrospective selling points for me were the environments, new enemy types, but above those by far, the irreverent humor and strong peek into Orlesian society. Especially with Inquisition on the horizon that last part is fitting and enjoyable.

Whoo, I'm 90 pages into Asunder already. Which may not sound like much but I generally try to read books slowly. Sometimes I fail.

Lol, it took me a month to finish that book. I was forced to read A LOT of books in University I never really recovered from that so I read it very gradually. There are very interesting characters in Aunder, most of which have great potential for development in Inquisition.
I noticed you really liked Anders, well at least before he explodes all over us, literally. There is a character that is very much like Anders but tries to accomplish the same thing without any explosion and her hands are quite clean, no murder etc... I think you'll like her! I'm waiting to hear your view on her.

Since we're on the topic of the DA books, I have two questions:
1) What order do they go in?
2) Are they available on Kindle?
Because, DI Jeff, I want to read them all now...

In order the books go:
The Stolen Throne
The Calling
Asunder
And yes, they are all on Amazon Kindle devices

Oh, I'll give more thoughts a bit later, elu! Just for you.
I noticed there was only the bigger version of the book at the store by the way. Did Asunder never receive a smaller-scale print? Just curious. I like this size more in any case, but it dawns on me I've never seen it like that.

Haha, what's going on here?
Oh, I'll give more thoughts a bit later, elu! Just for you.Watching a friend play a very different kind of game right now (Wind Waker, haha) but I'm on page ~115 or so as it stands, already a quarter of the way.

I used to work at Barnes & Noble and this is considered a soft-cover edition. In other words, it's the same size as a hard-cover edition it just has the paper back cover instead.
