I've been trying to use TexMod for Mass Effect 3 through Origin but it does not have any effect on the game.
I've followed the instructions of placing TexMod in the Binaries, Win32 folder.
Renaming MassEffect3.exe to MassEffect3.exebak
Renaming TexMod.exe to MassEffect3.exe
Running through Origin
Changing the names of the two files again
Manually browsing the MassEffect3.exe in TexMod
Browsing the .tpf files with the textures I want
Then click Run.
It takes a few seconds to load but when I get into the game, nothing changes.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks.

You could try disabling the Origin In Game overlay.

It worked! You won't believe how long I've spent on Google trying to figure this one out and it turned out to be so simple.
Thanks so much for the help!

Recent Origin updates messed with Texmod's functionality, i got it to work without turning the overlay off, it's just more tedious.

I'm glad it worked out

I had the same problem a while ago after an Origin update, but hankfully someone figured out that the problem was the overlay.
If this occurs again after an update just check if the overlay is still disabled.
