On Gold, you see it way more often, most likely because of doing CP. or to make a boom boom squad to reck whatever faction comes up on U/U/G

You're not wrong, however I would argue she is probably more effective on Plat than on Gold in a competent player's hands. Projectile based powers become more effective because there are less infantry and more heavy enemies to kill. Also phantoms are present in every enemy faction so stasis can be a game changer for teams.

Actually I don't see that many PUG GI players either. I don't think we can argue that the AA is the best character in the game as far as killing time, etc or anything like that but she is somewhere in that next tier behind the GI and other OP kits.

I like running around in the open on Platinum.  Sniping is boring.   Plus sniping is pathetic and cowardly

 

The weapon ranking on Platinum for a Krogan Soldier is, roughly and from memory:

Acolyte > Venom > Graal > Crusader > Striker > Wraith > Claymore

 

I'm not going to carry you and your bad weapons.  Test to see if you're a Platinum player: please explain the general principles behind why weapon choices may be constrained on Platinum.  If you can't answer this very elementary question to my satisfaction; sorry, you're just a gold scrub

You not being able to do anything but camp with one instead of having the skill to play aggressively is your problem. It's EZ. This whole game is, which is why hundreds of people can solo the supposedly hardest difficulty level. Seriously bragging about anything in it is hilariously sad.

Wouldn't know about weapons on a krogan soldier because I don't play inferior races or use weaksauce stripper pistols, but I'm pretty sure the best one isn't the lolcolyte if you actually know how to aim. Probably the easiest one for bad babbies like you who can't aim, admittedly, but I'm not even sure about that with the existence of lolReegar cheezing.

You can check out Acolyte aim here From a quick random clip.  And I'm even rusty.  Sure, if you're on console then there's no aim involved (or even capable) with the Acolyte, although with aim assist one can hardly be bragging about sniping

 

Sorry I hurt your feelings, but running around invisible is ez mode.  Also, as we can move onto being more serious, the sniper rifle and others like it are not appropriate for non weapon classes.  If you actually want to talk theory then fine, although this should be basic stuff.  I think we can leave off from here

 

P.S. Thought experiment: Btw, what else might have actually changed since fall last year that I suddenly have clips to upload?

But I am.  Soloing isn't that hard dude, I've been doing it since carrying Plat Pugs back in the day when I didn't know what I was doing.

 

Just like I never felt like writing guides for e-peen, so I never felt the need to prove how great I was by soloing.  Besides, like I said, I only came back after all that **** had been done.  And good for them

PotE, you are aware that the Krosol is one of the most powerful kits in this game? Even though he doesn't get the props he should from BSN, those in the know understand.

 

And the Acolyte is broken as a weapon, combined with either Incendiary or Disruptor rounds pretty much makes most kits into a god on any difficulty .. especially Incendiary ammo on a Krosol spec'd with Carnage and Incendiary grenades

But to elaborate: Carrying Pugs is tautology.  I mean, we carry all the time.  What is meant is that, back then, we were so bad that they wiped, so I had to solo for extended periods

who said anything about invisibility? I make a joke of phantom skulls with the quarian marksman without any stagger projectile crutches. Why are you hiding behind skilless mechanics so the enemy can't fight back? Running scared?
