Re Phantoms, they are only supposed to put the bubble up after they have been hit by a power correct? Probably lag related but I've had those wiches put up their bubble before I get my power cast on them.

They put up bubble before you cast on host also, so it's not lag related. It's just either that Bioware didn't fix or left that way intentionally.Beerfish wrote...
A couple questions, do the dragoons get totaly invulnerability as soon as they go into their whip animation? A fair number of powers including biotic charge seem to have no affect at times.

The only way to deal with turrets is to kill Engineers on sight and make sure you have your volume turned up sufficiently to hear them and take care of them accordingly and carefully.
The worst unit for me are the atlases because I get so irritated at how long they take to kill lol

I feel like so many lobbies are preset to Reapers that I enjoy fighting Cerberus immensely. If I'm sniping nothing feels better than sniping a phantom who's dancing around like a fool before she reaches the team. Feels great to detonate the hell out of dragoons too. Throw warp at teach one and shockwave those fools to death.

And aren't you just so glad they added DOT to their rockets? I know I am. That's what was truly missing from my life.

Yeah the Atlases are a total pain IMO on Gold and Plat. It's just a lot of boring armor to mow through on Plat- I sometimes missle one or a couple just because they're boring and uber armored and I get tired of shooting them lol.

At least their rockets obey physics and are easy to dodge, oh wait.

Dragoons do not get protection from powers while whipping, at all. They do, however, become almost impossible to stagger. So BCing them will still deal damage, but won't stagger them. That's what you're noticing.
Phantoms do put up the bubble *before* they are hit by the power, which is a projectile and has a fly time by design. If you don't want them to put it up, you've got to fire the power in such a way that she doesn't have the time to perform the bubble animation. That includes firing it at very close range and/or right after she performs an animation or is staggered.

with phantom bubbles, I think it works that they'll bubble up before they get hit by a projectile power when they are the target of the power (like warp or a grenade), but if you hit them with something like overload that hits instantly they'll take the effects and then bubble up.

Okay makes sense I suppose I still hate it when the phantom is looking one direction, i flank the skank get my power off while she is looking the other way and *bloop*! up goes the bubble before I get the power off.

I certainly am. The only thing I was missing more was more stagger from Geth and they fixed that too, so life can´t be better now

Indeed, they are boring. They are also dreadfully impatient. I mean, here I am, on the other side of the map, minding my own business mowing through their little mook friends, when suddenly Mr. Atlas wants to join the party by sending a heat-seeking rocket that is capable of some fairly amazing aerial stunts, and then I take cover to stop the DOT and while I am health-gated from Mr. Atlas's long-distance participation, Mr. Guardian or Mr. Combat Engineer silently pops a cap in my head and now I have to suffer the indignity of being "killed" by one of those two idiots in the killfeed...

I feel Atlas should have a 1v1v1 me babby Thunderdome with the Banshee's curving Warp ball and Geth Prime The Last Airbender.

They were supposed to make a lot of noise so you knew they were coming. They'd be noisy shock troops. Then something happened at the tail end of Retaliation development and they were unable to get the sound files working.
Shame, just one more piece of mass effect 3 (like the unfinished maps, polonium rounds, etc) which will never see the light of day.

The fact that they don't have working sound files is the single most annoying thing about them, for me.

I never rush in to revive teammates when playing Cerberus. I glance at the screen to see what took the teammate, if it's a turret, either i ignore or locate the turret first. If it's a phantom, approach with caution because they have the habit of just lurking around waiting for the first over zealous medic, if it's dragoons i probably won't bother because the teammate will be executed anyway.N7 Banshee Bait wrote...
Turrets are the only problem for me. And only when I try to revive a teammate but don't have a clue where the damn turret is. The whole team drops from trying to revive 1 teammate but not knowing where the turret is hiding.
