A lot of people seem to hate Cerberus and especially Geth...

Personally I consider them the easiest factions, because they have a lot of infantry units and are therefore vulnerable to crowd control.

And aren't you just so glad they added DOT to their rockets? I know I am. That's what was truly missing from my life.

At least their rockets obey physics and are easy to dodge, oh wait.

It's especially fun when hit you through solid walls on the teleport dodge kits.

When FinnClan, Limbs, and I were working on "Cerberus Defectors" for the challenge, on Wave 8 FinnClan got sync-killed by an Atlas... through a wall. Hit up the thread and look at the "Honorable Mention" video I uploaded... at the start of Wave 9, you see me and Limbs run over to Finn and look around randomly... that was when he explained how he was on one side of the wall smashing, the Atlas was on the other side, and it then proceeded to pick him up and sync him THROUGH THE WALL.

Totes legit.

Dragoons were supposed to have loads of unique sound files to go with them; dialogue, whip cracks, etc.

They were supposed to make a lot of noise so you knew they were coming. They'd be noisy shock troops. Then something happened at the tail end of Retaliation development and they were unable to get the sound files working.

Shame, just one more piece of mass effect 3 (like the unfinished maps, polonium rounds, etc) which will never see the light of day.

*lol* uhm... polonium rounds? For what? Sneaky assasination attempts?

I once used an Indra wielding N7 Shadow on-host without any projectile weapons as backup, lets just say it was hilariously ineffective against Phantoms.

Since hosting is an ultra rare consumable that is deemed too powerful, Bioware has balanced it by giving phantoms the full DR when you are using the 'hosting'.Image IPB

I hate Cerberus too. Prefer Reapers.

Funnily enough I prefer Geth over Cerberus.

I love to fight with Cerebus when I m a new comer and play on bronze.

But for the much difficulty level like gold...I hate them.
5 or 6 of Phatoms coming to you on hack mission. Dragoons spam their whip. Turrent trap. Altas shoot & rocket you behind the smoke :(

4 at a time is the max limit for Phantoms and whenever you see 4 of them together just missile them, otherwise run.

I love cerberus on gold. Better than Geth pyros and hunters downing you in no time. most of the time I run infiltrators, which excel vs cerberus.

trouble with phantoms? TGI Overload -> Harrier. GI proxy mine -> Widow. AHI Dark channel -> warp... need I go on?

pretty much everything else is cannon fodder with armor piercing or drill rounds/mods. even dragoons...

Cerberus can be a real pain in the ass! One could argue Cerberus wave 10, is the most difficult of any wave.

Phantoms seem vulnerable to singularity + Acolyte. They bubble up, you take down their barriers with the Acolyte and then they're flyyyyyyyyinng....

(....though, of course, I prefer the exploding Combat Drone.)

Turrets are predictably placed at specific places, so they are avoidable...phantoms, everything about them is cheat

Collectors dude.

Three possessed Scions and hacking objective, that's all I'm gonna say here.

Well, I am one of those weirdos who absolutely loves fighting collectors. :P
I'd rather play 10 collector games than one game vs. any other faction....

Edit: There are never 3 scions at the same time in any objective wave.. (gold and above, atleast)

I would take Collectors over cerberus any day. Collectors do a load of damage, but that's it. Cerberus look dumb, sound dumb ("SQUAD, Keep mving." Even if there is no frigging squad left.) and have gimmicky phantoms (arghhh).

Cerberus is the most fun faction. I love taking on Phantoms and Goons, and sometimes bring sabotage kits to troll them with their own turrets and mechs. Atlas-phantom sync kills feel good for the soul, and watching turrets annihilate their own troops is funny.
My new phantom toy is submission net. The only thing that comes close with fun factor other than cerberus is geth wave 8.

Yeah but they are so dum they can't see it laying beneth their feet so they ensnare themselves. Either that or they get Venomized prior SN. Or Graal to the face.

What about the round 11 extraction wave phantom spawn? It's like a neverending spawn of 3-4 member phantom squads...now taht's the only thing I hate in Cerberus.

Atlas's?

How are they even alive for more than a minute?

Have ever tried to kill an Atlas with an engineer lurking around the corner?
