Serious though, I liked the ending to AC: Brotherhood, if only for the lulz I had afterwards. I also like the endings to a lot of the games mentioned here already, for similar reasons.

I think this guy is confused.

So what was the ending of WW2 for Germany? Last few days of battle in Berlin + the events till the moment German Generals were executed? More? or less than that?

Okay. Just to give this another shot.

Planescape Torment

Assassin's Creed 4

The Walking Dead (because to this day I can't watch it with at least getting a bit emotional. First time round though... damn.)

Dragon Age: Origins. (Yeah, they handled all their endings fine.)

Baldurs Gate 2 TOB

Red Dead Redemption.

GTA V (though cheesy, the game was really fun and seeing a happy ending was cool too.)

Age of Mythology campaign ending. (Arkantos was a beast.)

NWN2 Mask of the Betrayer (any ending worked really.)

Bastion

Each GOT RPG ending was fantastic. Even when you won you technically lost.

To the Moon (or To the Feels, whichever you prefer. Another game that had me in tears.)

HL2 Episode 2 (kick to the balls but I loved it.)

The Witcher

Mass Effect 2 (f*cking hell what an ending. Even as I write this I have the suicide mission OST playing in my head.)

Mass Effect (not as good as 2 though.)

FFVIII's (yeah, another game that had me in tears, but of joy since that **** didn't die.)

FFX (wow. Just wow.)

FFIX (who doesn't love this classic?)

The Last of Us

Any Uncharted game ever. (Uncharted > any adventure movie ever made.)

Sly Racoon 3 (oh Sly you... you sly guy hahah xD)

Beyond Good and Evil

Each Deponia game.

Monkey Island

Dreamfall and the Longest Journey each have fantastic endings (plus the music for Dreamfall... wow.)

Psychonauts!

BioShock Infinite. (Not the ending exactly, but the impact it left on me was great.)

BioShock (because the game ended at "KILL ME!")

Silent Hill 2

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (f*ck you ubisoft.)

Portal 2 was the first thing I thought when I clicked on this thread, I was genuinely surprised at how few people mentioned it XD not sure if people forgot about it, didn't like it or just didn't play portal 2 but that was seriously one of the most memorable.

Also btw +1 for all the point and clicks, theres a few on your list Ive been wanting to play for a while.

Anyway, feel like adding some more games to this thread while also making a list on Giantbomb. Simfam, and a few others, seems to have mentioned a few games I missed out on mentioning.
