I'm  wondering???

I have a AMD Phemon II X3 720 CPU with 3 cores. WinXP can see and use all 3 CPU's.
But when the game config program list hardware, it tells me the correct CPU model name, but claims that I only have 1 core??

Is that something I should be concerned about, or just ignore?

It's the way XP is designed. I had True dual core before on Xp and although the OS recognises, it had problems allowing programs to utilise it. I think they've done a better job with multicore cpu support on their later OSs.
