I love the Justicar.  I think she's the most 'fun' adept in the lineup.  She has a lot of micro to do w/the bubble.

 

I currently only go to rank 3 on the pull though... mostly just for phantoms after a quick barrier strip.  

 

Often a lot of people are put off by her initially.  I usually tell those people to equip adrenaline, as its kinda like training wheels and makes bubble deployment easier.  When people do get the hang of her, myself included, she's just really rewarding. 

 

I too am currently using SMG/acoloyte.  But eventually I plan on trying her w/a venom, as I think the stagger potential of it should make for some lol bubble deployments.

Yes, she's a very unique kit. And popular. Wish BioWare came up with more unique kits to help with replay value.

I skip pull, but then, I also find the acolyte to be a dull weapon on her and it's pretty necessary to get the most (or anything) out of pull.

No - I find Pull to be very useful on her, even without the Acolyte.  Once you have dropped the shields/barriers on tougher mooks like Captains, Hunters, and Phantoms, it's often more reliable just to throw a Pull at them to take them out of the equation than forcing yourself to make a high-pressure "if I miss this, I'm going to have to use an Ops or Medigel" shot.  If you take Pull to R4 for Radius, it doesn't often miss, even when the enemy dodges.  And even if it does miss, your cooldown is so short that you can fire it again before the dodge animation is over.

That is why soloing and playing with PUGs are two different things. You can't just wait for enemies to come to those choke points. This only works on like Platinum where everyone is huddled up together more often . On Gold, you might as well run off doing your own thing.

Whenever I equip the venom with her and Rio DOES come up, pugs love the bubble when they setup a chokepoint near the control center. It's also a good indicator for people to "SHOOT HERE" - I can recommend Adrenaline III to drop the bubble where needed.

I like all the Asari but I've carried more pugs to glory with the Justicar than with any other character and probably logged more hours with her than probably any character.

Go up to rank 4 Radius in Pull  ..Double Mook explosion.   Acolyte Justicar against Cerberus is just a ROFL stomp fest ..don't even need a side arm against them.
