This may likely have already been asked, but couldn't find the answer on the boards here...
DLC Content has been announced as coming to us at a fairly steady pace after Mass Effect 2 launches. Storywise, will it all be taking place simultaneously with the bulk of the story, such as in Dragon Age, or will we be seeing content that takes place after the ending as well?

If it anything like ME1 you can do it when ever you want.

I'm guessing it's going to be like Dragon Age. For continuities sake it'll fit within the original plot; unless Mass Effect 2 gets an actual expansion, which is unlikely. After you finish the game we know you can play a New Game +, therefore we can assume it's impossible to continue "free play" after the main plot has been completed.

quite the contrary, it is possible to continue playing after the conclusion of the main plot. this was implemented with dlc in mind.
Ng+ was to be dropped and only made it into the game due to popular demand.

It'd just be nice to see some small bits of continuation to the storyline -after- the curtain falls, so to speak. Nothing major, but some minor preludes for ME3 or any expansions they might come out with. *shrugs* Added content is good regardless, but it always seemed a bit odd doing them at the tail end of a game, having already beaten it, when the context of the DLC all refers to pre beating it.
