 One of the things I'm most looking forward to in 'Dragon Age: Inquisition' is the ability to be able to play as a Human, Elf, Dwarf or Qunari, but I'm certainly having difficulty deciding which one to go as. So, I was wondering, have any of you decided which race your gonna play as yet? And if so, why will you play as that race?

Elves first because I've always fancied elves in just about any fantasy setting. Qunari second because I've wanted to be one since Origins.

If you need a randomization method, a 4-sided die would work nice.

You can still find them at some hobby shops.



4 playthroughs, you could try them all? Then the only question is to decide on which to try first.

Going Qunari first because I think that'll be most different from any of the experiences I've had with my PC thus far in the Dragon Age series.

Possibly human for first playthrough, mainly so I can kind of feel "at home" with my character. It's a hard decision though because there will only be ONE first playthrough, ya know??


Then definitely qunari because wow.


Possibly an elf, if they end up looking good and aren't shorter than humans. They probably will be shorter though and wiry.

I'll be definitely playing as elf mage considering that the dalish background has been confirmed.
Also considering qunari Mage too.

Qunari first because it would be a new opportunity and they look freaking awesome.
Dwarf second because I don't think I've played them as much as I should have.
Elf third because the dalish culture still intrigues me.
Humans last because screw the mainstream.

I will do numerous playthroughs as a human.

Qunari first because I find them interesting and I've wanted to play as one since DAO. Then I'll probably play as either an Elf or Human.

Dwarf, cause it's my favorite fantasy race and I love the Dragon Age dwarves culture.

Probably human first since it's my canon file, and I can relate to a human character more. The second file is Qunari. Their culture is pretty interesting, and I want to see how the world perceive a Qunari inquisitor.

Qunari definitely. They seem to be the most different, maybe challenging, might be more conflict inducing, and they look cool as hell.

I generally gravitate toward playing whatever is the most non-human. In this case, I am fairly sure my first will be Qunari.

Qunari-Human-Dwarf and I don't like elves so....

Definitely going to have the human be my primary PC, with the elf being secondary. Qunari is intriguing though, especially I can make him ****** everyone off.

Hopefully they do a good job in terms of the world's/other characters' reactions to your different races. I'd hate to be a qunari only for no one to care!

I usually start with a Mage. I'm thinking Female Human Mage, since I did that in DA2 and had a good time. Then, I'll do Male Tal Vashoth Warrior. Then Female Elf Rogue, then Male Human Rogue. There is a good chance I'll swap the chick rogue and chick mage though.

Probably male human mage for the first playthrough, it's how I started the first two games. Then I'll go Male Qunari Warrior, acting like a total badass the whole time.

Qunari mage, for sure. Then an elf warrior. Then probably a qunari rogue. It's looking entirely possible I won't ever play a human in DAI...
