1st
Male Human Warrior
2nd
Female Qunari Mage
3rd
Rouge, likely either female elf or male dwarf
For me elf used to be tied to mage until I heard were likely forced into being dalish if we want to be an elf mage.
Also female and mage seems to be the best from an anti Qun, horn head.

Dwarves because they are the most badass. Favorite race by far.
Second playthrough will def be an elf because they're cool too and they can be mages. Best class by far.

I think I will start with either a male human warrior or a male human mage. Those are the classes/race I usually start with. A dwarf or qunari sounds cool too.

I'm definitely starting with a female elf rogue. I can't decide between archery or dual wielding though.
After that I'll most likely do a female qunari warrior. (And then every other combination)

Aah, I've been planning to start with a female Qunari mage, since this is what I look forward to the most ... But the more I think about it, the less certain I am ... I need to play as a human (and probably warrior) at some point to see the difference; I want to play as an elven mage because we most likely get to play a Dalish mage and I just love that idea; and then I grew fond of the dwarf/rogue combo during my last playthrough of Origins ...
Argh, I guess I'll have to play DA:I four times at once. ![]()

Will go with Human Rogue or Human Mage for 1st playthrough. Then Quanri Warrior. Will be cool to see the difference in reactions you get from all of the NPC's and followers etc. Would be kind of neat to see like the Quanari features change during gameplay, horns grow or adding body paint/tattoos to them.

my warden was an elf and obviously hawke was human. between dwarf and quinari i am choosing quinari. a female probably rouge quinari. i always play as rouge on my main, but quinari mage would also be interesting. I'm really glad bioware added quinari
they should be epic

Obviously a human rogue/warrior.
Although I really appreciate the fact that you are able to choose a different race such as an elf, dwarf or even qunari, I feels it makes no sense for the inquisitor to be anything but a human really. Also I always stick to the human race for my first couple of playthroughs and only start exploring the other storylines after playing through everything the human storyline has to offer.

I have 2 main playthroughs. 1 male mage & 1 female mage. Both of them I play as myself or try my very best to do so.
For both playthroughs it will be either a Qunari mage or a Dalish Elf mage since my Warden was an Elven Circle Mage and Hawke was an Apostate Human Mage.
Personally, I like the idea that the significant characters in Thedas all came from different backgrounds even though they are all mages because I like playing as mages the most.

Hah, I made a thread like this a long time ago on the BSN. Everyone had wildly different ideas behind what class, race, gender, etc etc they'd play.
In my case, I'm currently thinking about potentially a female elf mage or rogue. Not sure. I'll only know for sure when I get there.

Kossith all the way.
I hope there's a jump function like WoW so I can jump over the heads of humans.

Human in my first game, then surely'll choose a Qunari

Gonna struggle between my intense desire to play a Qunari warrior or my traditional human mage...

I wonder. Am I the only one who likes human rogues for a first run? For some strange reason, most people seem to associate rogues with elves.

Torn between qunari mage and elven rogue. Probably gonna flip a coin or somethin'.
...Then again, dwarf sounds somewhat appealing.... *sighs*

Nah, that's my plan too. I took that route in DA2 and enjoyed it. I like having my character being able to lockpick on his own, lol.

When they were first announced I thought Qunari, but the more time's gone on I'm unsure. I think the aesthetic of the races will play a big part for me, followed by the voice actor, neither of which we have much info on. It's a wait and see policy as of now.

Probably a male human warrior because I'm boring like that
