I don't understand what's happening. The last time I used gibbed my save was fine.

I put my save onto usb. Open the usb via modio. Put the save I want to mod into gibbed. Edit the credits, add armor/weapons and save the file as a 360 file. I then replace the file I had on the usb with the modded file. I put the usb into the xbox and try to play.

I redownloaded modio and gibbed. Any time I ran into problems before just that save would be corrupted by now the entire save file is corrupted and either won't show up or it shows up as corrupted.

Serves you right for cheating, I guess.

I'd say it's more likely related to XBOX... in which case, well, you kinda got exactly what you bought the XBOX for - you have no control over your hardware and are completely at the mercy of the developers offering what you want.

I stopped using Modio when I noticed my saves becoming corrupted. Try Horizon, haven't had a corrupt save from it yet.

Same problem here. Last year my Xbox HDD died but I still managed to extract my saves and store them in my pc - phew!! The first files I brought back to the Xbox, modded or not, worked out just fine. The ones I tried transferring this week are all getting corrupted, even my Skyrim save I've been playing on pc since the HDD died I can't bring back to Xbox now. The problem must be Modio, not Gibbed.

I'll try Horizon and come back to say if it worked for me or not.

Update: Horizon worked for Skyrim but not for ME3. Still haven't stressed all possibilities, but I'll give up for now.

I hope this is a solitary problem. I tweak my Shepards looks in gibbed...

Sometimes I'm astounded by how pathetically passive aggressive PC fanboys are. Turning a completely unrelated thread into an excuse to bash consoles.

Because save corrupts on PC never happen. In fact, in my experience, corrupted saves, viruses, and the need to constantly seek out the 'correct' drivers in order to play the right game was all par for the course on PC gaming.

And btw, this problem has nothing to do with Xbox. I was able to mod saves on 360 just fine until the new version of Modio. It's a Modio issue.

Oh shut up. I have beaten the entire ME trilogy on Insanity without mods, I now mod purely for fun purposes, how the hell does that qualify as 'cheating'?

And it's a single player RPG, it's not like there's any competitive element to it whatsoever.

I really despise people like you. You have this phony self-righteousness about not 'cheating' in video games - as though modding is always about 'cheating', when in reality there are more purposes to modding that have nothing to do with cheating that you're simply too narrow minded (or unintelligent) to see.

Cosmetic modding does not = 'cheating'. Using a save editor to change my character's hair is not 'cheating', and you know it. And if you don't know it, then you're really just dumb.
