Whose voices can be heard/are never heard during the dream sequence?

I have heard Wrex, Mordin, Ashely, Kaiden, Zaeed, Padok Wiks and Eve, maybe some others. I do not recall ever hearing Kasumi, but that may be because she has only died in one of my playthroughs.

Notably, I have never heard Jack or Jacob even though they have died in a few different playthroughs.

Others characters I have never let die, such as Tali, Garrus, and Miranda. (Surprisingly, I have never let Samara die in ME2, though I have let her shoot herself in ME3. Her loyalty power is too valuable to pass up and her power suite is too valuable to lose before the final boss battle.)

So, no Jack, no Samara. Also, even though all those tracks are on there, I wonder if some of them just never get triggered. Another point: Kasumi only had one track, so the odds of hearing that track would be pretty low.

No, no.

Any dead squadmate can be heard in the dream sequences. they're different for every Shepard. I think all squadmates have lines in case they died. I digged through the files once.

So, you only hear dead squadmates. That's why everybody at least hears Legion. The one who was killed on Virmire, etc. If you didn't have Wrex dead in ME1 and everyone survived the SM, then these two are the only two you'll hear. Well, Mordin too for most people. Also, some of their lines are quite crazy, dreamlike, and their voices sound strange in some of them.

The dreams are meant to make you feel sorry about the ones you've lost. That's also what the kid symbolizes.

All of this, of course, in an attempt to make you want to save everyone in your final choices and not go for the option where you have to sacrifice your friends.

Dat Reaper indoctrinationz.

I've heard reports that nothing from Jack ever plays before. It wouldn't surprise me if Bio botched a check there.

Check out the youtube link again (if you haven't already). There is no Jack or Samara on any of the tracks, and only one track for Kasumi.

Okay, well, fact remains that you'll only hear the squadmates who are dead.

Epic fail @ having no Jack lines in the dream sequence.

She had the perfect quote for it and everything: "If I die, I'm haunting you, Shepard!"

And thank the heavens for that! No need to make the dream sequences even more annoying.

Also, lol IT.

Embedding. I like this video mostly because of the creepy music.
