Just a thought that occured to me. It is described that the geth act by concencous. It sound like twitch plays pokemon on full democracy would be a real wourld example of how actions would be decided.

A very limited version, yes.

Whatever the Geth do, they do it in relative unison to organics.

Pro - Get decisions done faster and actions done more efficiently
Con - May be a drastically incorrect action, when it actually is incorrect (or even aspects of it)

They were moving towards individuality though. The Heretics broke off (which was huge to them), and Legion was sent out as more of an 'individual' geth platform (still many programs of geth in it), meaning even the mainline Geth were trying it out.

The result with the Reaper upgrades is something more like Democracy mode within every Geth, but:
1)Decisions aren't nearly split second, but reevaluated within the processes every time (instead of 'leftleftup ' lol, it's more 'alright, we'll go left? Okay, left. Now up? Are we sure? Alright, up.'
2)There is still networking between every geth program and platform, making the geth more like mini-Reapers in processing. Their platforms may be more individual (and the programs in them, more..even emotionally..'connected' to their body, but their intelligence levels are still networked and strengthened by each other.

I guess this is a long way of saying "Yes, but its like TPP is more like a stone age version of it."

While TPP bashes actions together, the Geth have are more finesse, and eventually a sort of mastery over the concept.

Making them value the concept of co-operation whenever viewed as possible, more than any organic species in the MEU. Why? Because they exist based on it. The schism between them and the heretics was as if you lost part of your memories and IQ.

So the Geth worship the Dome? No wonder they joined the reapers.

Kind of, except the Geth don't actively seek to sabotage themselves just for the giggles.

We've seen TPP do this, sure, but over time, it's become more like factions trying to drive things in whatever way - increasingly, in the name of survival (of the project) and effeciency (trying to get out of the Safari Zone, for example).

It's crude, brutal, but I've been noticing more of a trend to get the objective done and done well, as the bigger trolls/trolling gets smaller and smaller.

I have pretty good confidence now that they'll defeat the Elite Four.

lol XD I think a big advantage the geth have is that those actions aren't carried out right away and everyone gets one vote per matter I would assume

And the sheer quantity of programs.

1183 programs within Legion *alone*.

Other platforms only have around 100. Other programs don't even have platforms, but exist within the Consensus until needed.

*For all we know, Geth 'reproduction' is akin to churning out bitcoins - an increasing processing of intelligence as they're all connected to the Consensus (a giant computing network).

Just build more server hubs to hold millions more geth, and every time we destoyed one in Legion's Loyalty mission, it was (from Geth POV) akin to wiping out a city. Be glad Legion didn't have the emotional capability to be wrecked by that.

Shepard really is a destroyer.

Not really. Many things are not more democratic or anarchic, but dictatorial.

(in fact, the running of TPP itself is more dictatorial; the creator of it can shut it down at any moment, or change the rules)

Maybe I should have said:

Everything works like Twitch Plays Pokemon Kappa.
