GameZone asked Casey Hudson if he had heard the labels placed on Suspect Zero as a "tattooed Natalie Portman." His response was it was beneficial to have people put labels on their characters.
“One thing about first impressions
is that is it actually one of the things that are useful. It’s a way for people
to respond to something new is an instant need to categorize something or put it
in a known box. It’s different for each person. I hadn’t actually heard the
Natalie Portman reference before. It’s just an example of people being able to
say, ‘oh, that character is like so and so,’ which, actually, isn’t a bad thing.
It’s a useful starting point because it means they know they can start with
certain ideas of what that character is like. But then, the important thing is
that you develop that becomes unique and a lot deeper than the first
impression.”

No way. Natalie Portman is a waif compared to SZ. One has b3wb13s and the other needs implants. I
Natalie though...

Lol! Casey Hudson's explanation sounds like a excerpt, from a essay of Bertolt Brecht! XD
But seriously! Only because Natalie Portman shaved her head for "V for Vendetta", SubZero isnt even close in personality and behaviour.
I mean: Even Natalie's "darker" sister, Keira Knightley, could have never played SUCH a freakincrazyDaughter****ofa****!

In the narrative trailer for SubZero (never got that reference, lol) she reminds me of Eliza Dushku a little.

So will Subject Zero become a whiney and annoying in the games 3rd act along with being almost useless and turning our character into a renegade?

Yeah, it wasn't meant as a compliment per se. I didn't like Faith OR Dawn! The Buffycast was fine the way it was... ooh that reminds me: will joker turn into a werewolf?
Still, I find myself swearing exstatically just watching SuZe's reveal vid. F*ck yeah!

When I first saw SuZe she reminded me of V for Vendetta's Natalie Portman.
