Yep, been over three weeks since they first said they're working on it. Not that my patience means anything here, but it wavers.It's been a long time to wait for the changes to the "dark theme" we've been promised. How hard is it to change to something similar to the BSN color theme? I've pretty much had to stop coming here because it hurts my eyes too much, so I know I'm missing a lot of new info about the upcoming game. I hope things change here pretty soon!

I feel like they've decided that if they don't address the problem, we'll just forget about it, but I really can't come to this site for more than a few minutes at a time anymore unless I'm at my home computer where I can use user-made styles (no extensions or styles possible on my work computer or tablet). Would it be possible to make the padding on the sides greater so that the background can provide relief for eyestrain, as a quick fix until an alternate theme is available?

I just came back to check on the progress of changing back to a dark theme. It seems that this doesn't affect the devs as much as the forumites. I will keep checking from time to time, but my eyes just can't deal with the white background.
I'm really disappointed that something hasn't been done yet.

You guys have to remember that work on the forum and other in-development web stuff is an ongoing project. They didn't finish this forum redesign and say, "Finally, we're done!" There is continual maintenance and tweaking. So no, I don't think they have forgotten about the dark theme, or don't care about it.

Lately I've just been using the Firefox extension "turn off the lights," and I tweaked the options to set BSN (er, TBF) to 50% opacity. Works well enough, I guess.

I'm just waiting for the official bioware solution, i'm not really interested in pressing more buttons than necessary to solve this problem. In the mean time, I just squint and use those glasses made for watching eclipses.

If it doesn't change in April I'll have to take at least a break from here, and warn others to keep away for the sake of their eye health. I often browse on my TV and while I use my glasses/contacts, I don't want to have to squint at white more than I have to.
I shouldn't have to rely on a user-made script for this.
