First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

I seem to have survived the killer rabbit of Caerbannog relatively unscathed, but more importantly, the posts have as well, at least as far as I can tell.  An improvement is that they no longer abstract the dates beyond "yesterday", making so many conversations indiscriminately "over two years ago".

I'm not happy about my forum profile here being merged with my EA Master account, though.

And hey, no more Dragon Age: Origins badge under my avatar.  (Edit: Scratch that -- I was informed how to do it in another thread, and it was anything but straightforward.)

I see my post count has been preserved, but not for Bob.

Well I don't have any warning points yet, so that's good news. :police:

Interesting.  I just added two additional badges to my profile without actually owning those games.

They must still be working out the bugs.

Yes, and you have your old post count back, too, unless you made 1318 posts since yesterday.

It looks like the message threads didn't get copied over.

My sig didn't copy over, but I was able to go to the old forums and copy it over.

Which message threads?  I still see the ones I remember.

Well I figured my Messages from  BSN would get copied to the Personal Messenger, but I see butkus.

It limits you to a max of five links in your sig.

Yeah, PMs aren't here, but for now at least they're still accessible in my messenger in the new "legacy" forum.  As opposed to the never-brought-back old "legacy" forum that I continue to be bitter about.

Argh! So much white!

I miss the old black background. It was much easier on the eyes.

Nothing the Stylish plugin can't fix, reskinning boards to my liking.  I used it for BSN, I'll use it here.

I mostly read these forums while at work, where we're forced to use Internet Explorer. Downloading plugins for it might be tricky without admin rights!

Judging by the number of complaints in the general Bioware forums, I'm guessing there'll be some style template options here eventually. Fingers crossed.

Hi All,

Just trying to "quote" DannJ as well .... I too definitely prefer the black backdrop of the old forums.

Lance.

EDIT: Well, I did not get the "quote" information come through .... :( Anyone else had any joy "quoting" others?

EDIT 2: At least the EDIT function works. :)

EDIT 3: If anybody knows how to copy/paste ... and add web links, please let me know as I cannot do this yet. (It may just be because it's a new forum of course.)

EDIT 4: OK, I just found out that all my editing issues are an IE 11 one. So, I guess I will have to wait until the forums are fixed for IE 11.

Hi KevL,

I don't like having to switch between browsers if I can help it. Thankfully, using the BBC workaround helps me out for the time being ... until the boards are fixed. It's just the "white" background that I will have to put up with for the time being. ;)

If that takes too long though, I guess I may have to download and use Firefox ... but only as a last resort.

Lance.

I only use Internet Exploder when compelled to do so using hot pokers and snapping pincers... :o

+1 to that. At home I mostly use Opera or Firefox.

We're officially a Legacy Game now, heh.  But still, looks like a good forum jump!
