Last Hero,
Do you mean Last Action Hero? If so, I agree it's something that knows what it's doing and it's a great movie. It's also got Charles Dance in it, so it's hard to not love it on those grounds alone.
Also, Ian McKellen.

Total Recall
I love some good cheese. Edmonton has a "Dedfest" exhibition which often has some real gems.
I really loved Chillerama recently, and also some other goodies like [Lesbian] Vampire Killers (the Lesbian is dependent on the country of release I believe). Machete and Hobo with a Shotgun were both fantastic.
Birdemic almost kid me due to laughter induced asphyxiation. So much schlock, so little time.
''Soldier (1998)'' starring Kurt Russell. I like the actions scenes and I think its a pretty entertaining film with a highly predictable, simple plot. I enjoy it every time I watch it even though its generally regarded as a ''bad film''.
You're kidding, right? This film has won several awards and its a masterpiece in my opinion, few people would call it a bad film.
A friend of mine bought me Soldier on the cheap for my birthday one year. I agree it's a fun little movie, if not particularly exemplary in any real capacity.
Doomsday
I wouldn't say they're in that "bad" category apart from the odd one or two (and the standard plot of avenging someone's death - master, family member, friend...)Old Chinese (Kung Fu) movies, Chuck Norris movies, Steven Seagal movies...
I think I win this thread.
THE ROOM

Well I like watching Alfie (Jude Law version) when I'm in a bad mood or feeling down, even though it was critically panned, as they say.

Yeah, I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Cheesy action films from the 80's. Total Recall/ Robocop 1 and 2 (I refuse to acknowledge the existence of the existence of the third.) Oh, and Highlander, the first one. Any film which has Queen's Champions of the Universe blasting out is a hit! ![]()
Don't forget those erotica ripoffs of famous movies on cinemax: the hills have thighs, bikini jones and the temple of eros, the devil wears nada...
Schindlers fist.
Demolition Man, some people bash it mercilessly but man do I enjoy it.Same goes for the Conan(the very first one with Swarz) I dont know why people did not like it but John Carter was very enjoyable too.
Not sure I would put that Conan film in "bad", despite quite a few pretty cheesy bad moments. It's certainly got a downright genuinely brilliant soundtrack.
Now this is my kind of thread! I am a Le Bad Cinema fan, but I can't watch them as much as I used to because my boyfriend does not appreciate them as much as I do. Short list of some of my favorites:
Mommy Dearest
Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill!
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls
The Orphan
The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra (this is actually an intentional bad movie, but they get it spot on!)
Battle for the Planet of the Apes
C.H.U.D.
It's Alive
I'm going to stop or I'll make a huge list that will make your eyes water. But my personal opinion of what makes a good bad movie, is it needs to be so bad that you find it hilarious. Aw, now I wanna watch Showgirls!
probably the re-animator. classic ![]()

Considering that hardly anyone watches them...
still I like them.
Hobo with a Shotgun
The F.P.
the Man with the Iron Fists
I died.
Manborg is based bad movie.
HOW DID I FORGET THIS MOVIE!
It's never too late... to be a hero!
fight club.
