I'm having trouble registering ME2&3 on the new forums, also my email address for my XBLA account is different than the one for the forums.

ME2 doesn't have a profile page on the old site does it? Otherwise just copy the url of the profile from the otehr site and paste it into your new profile.

Were you able to ever view for XBL profile through a browser?

I don't think you can add ME2 to these new forums, its just Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, and Mass Effect 3.  With Mass Effect 3 copy the link that you see with your N7 profile page.  Now it could be a problem that you have two different email addresses, but I don't know for sure.

For the "games" you have to go to the legacy (old BSN) site and get the profile urls.  Then you have to go to "edit my profile" here on the new one and add them in (at the bottom).  Not sure if eventually it will update itself, or if everyone will have to do this manually.

I did with the PC version, I posted how I fixed it in this thread.

You don't really "register" anything on the new forums. We do check your Origin account, that you are using to log in, to see which BioWare games you've played while connected to the Internet. This is done in the background when you login and we run a check every 3 hours or so to see if anything has changed. That data is used to gate the game owner specific categories. You can see what we've found by going to your profile and loading the "Games" tab. Right now we can track Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age: Origins, and Dragon Age 2. Mass Effect we could track but it isn't that reliable so we haven't added it to the list. Dragon Age: Inquisition will be added to the list once it is released.

The icons below peoples avatar are links back to the BSN that show their characters from games where we were able to show the content on the web. That will only work for DA:O, DA2, and ME3.

The icon for ME2 worked on the previous forum, why not this incarnation? Will it eventually be added back?

The icons on the old forum were there because BSN allowed you to register your game. You don't register any games here; you are only linking to your character profiles. Just a different design choice.

Ahh, okay. Thanks for the clarification.

I had problems pasting my profile links too and also had to hack the URLs.  dragonage1ue_pc is not accepted as a game value.  On ME3, my main platform is wiiu and it wouldn't get accepted, so I put in PC (which I do also play on).  Just additional feedback on this.

I see now that the URLs to use should have come from this place: http://social.biowar...195/&v=bw_games

Not sure why I didn't get those URLs the first time... but the link there is correct.  I presume dragonage1ue_pc was never intended to be used at all.  Still no link on Wii U's ME3 though.

I played these games on 360, yet none have appeared under my avatar and number of posts. Hmm.

You will have to manually add the profile pages for the games to your user profile if you want the icons to appear - some links were posted earlier on the thread for how to do this.

I have copied my game profile urls from the old site into my new profile but the icons under my avatar don't appear. Is there a delay or did I do something wrong? Also, since I don't have an ME3 online profile for whatever reason (I player MP at least once) I can't make the ME3 icon appear. Please help!

Are you sure the profile links were saved?  Maybe double check this as it should show up immediately.

Just manually added the three games available. Wish like the old boards I could have ME2 and Awakening on there, but alas, I have what exists.

Yeah, it didn't save because the copy resulted in some format oddities. Problem removed for the DA games. Still trying to find out how to add ME3.

Will the list of registered game content and registered products be migrated too?

For now it will keep stay on the BSN. Final decision on where it lives longer term hasn't been made yet.
