Don´t really care to do it all over again.

And why is it that I can´t modify my post? Also the quote option doesn´t seem to work.

Edit is in bottom right of your post, along with the other options like quote or multi quote. I don't know why they're not working for you.

I'd like to be able to follow the conversations on which I've most recently posted, to determine whether they have responses I should check.  Currently, however, I'm shown the conversations in which I've ever posted, sorted by whether they have recent responses.

If I last posted in a thread 3 months ago, I probably don't care much about the new posts.  But stuff I posted in yesterday, sure.  In order to recreate this feature from old BSN, I now have to cross-reference two different profile pages.

It may take some time for the forum to sort its stuff out, but threads you have posted in with new posts will have two little speech balloons on the far left.

To be honest I never even figured out how to "go to first unread post" on the old BSN, though given the similarities this board has with Obsidian's, the transition is rather quick for me.

If you use Firefox you can install Stylish and activate this style for better readability. It doesn't change the theme and it's just a quick fix for the pressing issues. I will consider a proper dark-ish theme as time allows.

I just need to be able to remove things I'm Following.

So far, the forum won't let me do that to my older Followed threads. It's bugged out :(

I like the new bsn. Maybe a little too white, but the old bsn was also too dark and less welcoming. So if I must choose, i'd take the new design anyday. So maybe something darker BUT not too much please, if that's possible.

Otherwise : Custom avatars ? Like buttons ? Very good, love it.

Now, everything is too new, so I can't really tell much. But I have good feelings about it.

For some reasons the quote button is not working for me. When I pressed it, it brought me down to the bottom of the page to type a reply but the post I was supposed to quote didn't show up and after I've pressed the post button the post I wanted to quote didn't show up either.

I believe there are some issues with IE10 not populating the quote box.

As a potential work around, you can probably simply copy/paste the quote into ubb tags [ quote] (no space).

Alternatively, in the text window the upper left button will disable the rich type font. Click that might work? (this is something I just thought of) The quote *should* show up between the ubb tags.

I want my home page back again. When I visit the site I like seeing at a glance what my friends are up to. And no not just viewing their 'twitteresque' update feed, but their posts and mine and commentary on posts we've made.

I can put up with most of the changes, but I feel like I'm pulling teeth trying to see what my friends are up to and what threads they're involved with (as well as my own)

Seconded. It feels like you're oddly cut off at the moment.

new forums looks nice, might take some time to get a feel for it though and as others have pointed out this eye scorching white board color will burn thy eyes off in a blazing glory, so longer reading sessions are not recommended at this time.

The rich text editor used for replies, signatures etc is very difficult to use for anything more sophisticated than a text message, until you figure out that the (unlabelled) button top left toggles plain text with BBCode, which is the easy way to do formatting and links.

Can't say I'm a fan of the new layout at the moment, grey, grey, space, grey, white, oh look I am an Office 2013 clone. Totally lost the essence of being part of the game, (be it ME or DA).

I was hoping it would distract me from work, but it looks just like it, so meh...

It really needs more color. It's too bright.

I think the white background is a cunning plan. Anyone playing Hazard Firebase White with a Krogan knows what happens if you start to rage... :P

If you go to the "posts" tab on your profile page, you can see your recent posts. It looks like it only goes back five, which is poor, but it's better than nothing.

If any of the devs are reading this far in the thread my biggest wish right not is that you also could add a filter to threads for selected user replies. Would be awesome!

Thanks :kissing:

Like others have said... please... a darker theme... my eyes hurt :(
This bright makes it unpleasant to be on for more than 5 minutes...

Thirding this.  My favorite part of the old BSN was hanging out on friends' profile pages and comment walls.

Besides changing the white background to something more gentle on the eyes, I'd like to see larger avatars. There looks to be at least 20px of padding on the right and left, so that could be changed to make larger avatars (I assume changing the vertical size wouldn't have any issues since there's room there as well.

Just a thought. The new site layout is otherwise quite nice.

Personally I don't mind the white/grey.  Also, I'm really glad we can finally upload our own user pics.  The DAO Character Creator workaround never worked for me.

I second the request for larger avatars.

I'm not sure why other nearsighted peope are having trouble with this, but then I'm so nearsighted I have to wear glasses to read a book or a monitor anyways so maybe that's why I don't have the same problem.

By the way, editing posts isn't working for me either.

I just thought of one system the old forums had that I'd like to see return: the ability to click a button and see only the posts by bioware employees.  I don't want to wade through 10-20 pages of mages vs templars or pro-chantry vs anti-chantry arguing to find the one or two dev posts I'm actually looking for.
