Sadly, groups from the old site were not moved over, so we had to create the group again.

Also strangely I can't find where to change the group avatar. And for some reason on the group listing, it doesn't just have my username as the owner, it has the link to my profile, where everyone else has the username. Meh. 

 

The site is obviously confusing but this overhaul was much needed. A lot of good work went into this.

 

Also, R.I.P. DA:O custom avvie workaround.

I'm glad they've upgraded the site but it seems a real shame to just delete all of the old groups like that.

Yeah, the site needed a major overhaul, yeah...it's sad that they got rid of everything. Though I really like that they just allow for custom avatars now instead of having to screw around with an outside source.

I do have issues with navigation, seems like you need to click a thousand things just to get to a page. I do like a lot of things about the new site though, it's growing on me, but it's not without the few aforementioned issues.

 

They should have kept the Friend's Recent Activity feed as the home page. That's the one thing that's overly difficult to get to.

 

Other than that everything feels fresh. I like the bright page, I can see things better on it. And overall much more options and general addition of features that were sorely lacking in the previous BSN.

I agree, it's a bit too bright for my liking, and it's a pain in the ass to navigate. But other than that, it's a bit better than what we had.

Can you post in the old group? Or are they read-only?

 

Edit: We had to move here because while the legacy BSN is still there, it is actually in read-only format. So we can't actually post there.

I've seen the first 3 episodes of True Detective, but not the rest yet. I like it so far, but I'm not in love with it like GoT or anything. Matthew McHoweverYouSpellHisName's character is batsh*t though. In the best kind of way. Lol

McConaughey. lol. And yeah once you start watching episode 4 and on it really ramps up. Episodes 1-3 serve mainly as set-up, which is probably why you don't like it as much as you should

I hope they give us the option to change the screen to invert the black and white at least.  I can only spend a few minutes at a time before my eyes hurt.

 

And yes.. I've seen two episodes of the show so far... totally not because of boobs.  I swear.
