There's a playable teaser for a new Silent Hill game [from the minds of Hideo Kojima and Gurellimo del Toro] on the Playstation Store. If you want to check it out, search for P.T. Overall, it seems interesting, but the demo seems kinda random and most people have no idea on how to beat it. Also, the game will star Norman Reedus...so there's that.

Also, I am disappoint that the new game Bioware's been teasing is an "online action rpg". Meh. I hope there will still be strictly single player games 5 years from now.
Really.. I can enjoy some online games obviously, but still want the epic single player experiences.

Lady Hawke!!!!!! 150 hours??? Say the name "Isabela" and I'll be Bioware's b*tch until the end of time.
For the most part, I'm against reoccuring characters...I'd prefer to interact with a new cast of characters.
That being said, I'm totally willing to be a hypocrite and join this club of yours. What can I say? I'm a fan of saucy pirate ladies... ![]()

Oh, I totally agree with you. One of my favorite parts of any game, especially a Bioware game, is meeting new characters and building relationships with them. I wouldn't mind Lady Hawke or Isabela making a cameo though. Any indication of what they're up to now would be more than enough for me.For the most part, I'm against reoccuring characters...I'd prefer to interact with a new cast of characters.

@Kab: exactly. As much as I love a good co-op or competitive romp, nothing beats sitting down in a comfy place with snacks and drinks and getting totally absorbed in a massive, immersive, single player game that sucks you in and spits you out 12 hours later without you even realizing any time has passed. Which is one big reason I cannot wait for DAI.

As long as there are saucy pirate ladies involved. (Don't mind me, I'm in a mood

I'd be interested in seeing how they handle the Warden and Hawke's personality. I mean, the Warden had a ton of different ways of acting and Hawke could be either diplomatic, snarky or intimidating, so it'll be fun to see how Bioware would pull something like that off without making the fanbase **** their collective pants.
But then again...maybe the pants-shitting would be more entertaining?

But also how would they handle the Warden's voice! They can't have him/her awkwardly silent.

It definitely would be.
But also how would they handle the Warden's voice! They can't have him/her awkwardly silent.
This is why it wouldn't work...they'd have to have probably two different VA's per gender, all for a character which might be dead, unless they decide to say the Warden was somehow resurrected. Basically, I can't see how BW could implement this without people losing their **** because "That's NOT what my Warden sounds like, s/he wouldn't say that!" or "LAME!!! BW took away my choice of throwing my Warden's life away!!"
Heaven forbid we screw with their precious headcanon.

Plus they have a lot more room to work with with Frostbite and next-gen, I don't imagine dialogue should be an issue, considering they've said there's a million words spoken.

Possibly, however the game is also going to be released on 360 and PS3, which limits what they can do because of lack of disc space/hardware limitations. I assume they're going to be looking to cut corners wherever they can just to make sure the game fits on a single disc/as few discs as possible.
If it were X1, PS4 and PC only, I'd be more enthusiastic about the chances, basically.

Holy sh!t. Has anyone heard about or played the new Silent Hills (yes, hills, plural) playable teaser demo only available on the PS4? The demo is called like, P.T. I think. I've been surfing the creepy subreddit and people are posting some screenshots from it and it looks scary as fuuuuuu.

Nope. First time hearing about it... ![]()
Seriously though, it's pretty awesome. Side note: They dumbed down the graphics for the P.T. demo to make it seem like an indie horror game.

Oh, duh. I even remember reading the Norman Reedus comment, but for some reason I wasn't putting two and two together. Lol. My bad.Nope. First time hearing about it...

No worries, the information is out there twice now, so there's absolutely no reason for people to miss out on the awesomeness of P.T. So even if someones like "Oh God. It's Odin, somebody shut him the hell up..." they'll be like "Oh, hey! Meg's talking about a new Silent Hill game! I should look into it." lol

Lol. I'm pretty sure you have that backwards. I just ramble on nonsensically about things I like while you actually give well-worded and informative suggestions about awesome sh*t. But either way, it'll be hard for anyone to miss out on P.T. now. Unless, of course, their name is Badger and they decided to go with the X1 instead of the PS4... =P
