You'll have to let us know what you think once you've had a chance to use your shiny, new toy a bit.

So...a day or so? My download is like, 27% done ATM, lol. I might get to play DAI for a bit before ACU is fully done.

Holy crap. My downloads usually only take an hour or two. I guess digital games won't really be a first choice for you then. I also hate that they give you digital codes in the consoles bundles instead of the actual game.

I'm not really a fan of digital downloads either, I prefer having an actual copy...probably a side effect of having the equivalent of two cans tied to a string for internet. Either that or their severs were clogged with a bunch of people like myself who got the ACU bundle and were downloading it. At any rate, last time I checked I was able to play the game, despite it not being done, which is a cool feature.

True. Although I only tried playing a game while it was still downloading once and it was Alien Isolation on the PS4. Despite the download being 70% done, I was only able to play 10 minutes before I'd get a pop up telling me the content wasn't loaded when I tried to push a button to progress to the next area. It might have just been the way Alien's download was allocated though.

I was able to play ACU for about a 25 minutes or so before I had to stop, so yeah not quite as long as I imagined it would be, lol. So far, I do like the Xbox One, though as it stands, I fucking hate the dashboard. It feels so cramped and cluttered compared to the PS4's, though I assume I'll get used to it as I go. I like how smooth everything is on it though, it certainly runs a little bit quicker than the PS4, which is nice.

Yeah, I felt like it was a bit faster too. I really like the dashboard though. I always hated the PS3 and ps4 interface because it felt clunky and I could never find anything easily. It also looked so ugly, but that's just a matter of personal opinion. I think once you get used to the Xbox dashboard you might like it a little better, but again, it's all just kind of a matter of opinion so it's not like one is definitively better.

I'm not the biggest fan of either dashboard... without Kinect the One can be irritating and hard to navigate personally..  The PS4 is slightly easier to navigate but still can get cluttered in a hurry.  Though, to be fair I've had more games to play on the PS4 with Destiny being about the only game I've really sunk time into on the One.  GTA will fix that a little I'm sure.

Just a quick question, does anyone know if I will have to go through DA Keep to continue my story in DA:I or will it just pick up the data from my old saves?

Regardless of what console you play it on, you'll have to use the Keep to customize your previous choices. If I'm wrong, someone can correct me, but I'm pretty positive there's no importing saves in DAI.

Meg nailed it, you need to use the keep to get your world ready to use in DAI.

Just a note, I thought I had perfected my import on the Keep and imported it to DAI and started playing during the trial and nothing came up in game that made me realize something was wrong, but luckily I checked the Keep later and my Warden had been changed to a different character and a lot of choices were wrong. I realized that when I chose things, I didn't hit that little lock icon and lock my choices as I went, so whenever I made a choice that went against something I'd already chosen, it just automatically changed it and didn't let me know. When you lock it and make a choice that's not possible, a notification pops up to let you know what will need to be changed and you can either say "no" or unlock your previous choice and select "yes".

Also, when you have your perfect import ready, make sure you manually go to your world states and import that specific one to DAI, otherwise it will just load the default world state and if that's not the one you customized, you'll have to start over. I really wish when you imported your Keep data it would let you review your choices to make sure they were from the right import, but oh well, I guess.

Ok thanks, I knew you needed to on consoles but wasn't sure about pc, I guess I better import my saves to the keep then since it's regardless of platform, and I better hurry up about it I only have 3 days left till release. Thanks :)

You can't actually import your saves. In the early part of the beta, those who tried it might have gotten lucky and their stuff was imported after a day or so. Thankfully I was one of them. But there were a lot of bugs and issues so for now they've disabled save game importing as far as I know and you just have to select your choices manually.

It's probably better that way. As convenient as it is getting your choices imported into Keep, I would rather go in and craft multiple world states that I want to use, instead of going back in and fixing choices I screwed up on.

Well that sucks, I guess I'm just going to have to see how good my memory is and hope I don't confuse my main play through choices with my other play through choices.

@Badger: I must say while I like the idea of crafting multiple world states without having to play through the games every time, I wasn't going to go back and "fix" my choices anyway, as I see it the choices I screwed up are as much a part of my story as the choices I didn't.

All I'll say about this game is that it's easily going to take me 100 hours or more to finish.

i had to be stupid and get it on PC... trying to install from disc and it takes me to Origin and now it might take hours to download or copy or whatever it's doing.  Nice to know these supposed "anti piracy" measures only hurt those that actually decide to splurge on the Inquisitors edition and not the pirates <_<

I know right and in the end all it really does to the pirates is slow them down a little.

Well on the bright side you'll be able to play co-op with me :)

There's so much stuff to do.

Btw this has almost been a tradition for us considering how our group formed but who are we all romancing first in Inquisition? I'm torn between Cassandra and Josie atm

I was planning on Josie, but Cassandra surprised me and I'm only interested in her now.

Also, this game is giving me so many feels. I was just tearing up and then laughed out loud at a part and then went back to feeling badass. And that was all within 5 seconds.

I'm still at Haven and doing quests at the Hinterlands. For a "medium" sized area, christ it doesn't seem to end.

I'm leaning more toward Josie, but dialogue is exhausted atm. Gotta work through the game. Recruited Vivienne, Blackwall, Sera, and about to recruit Iron Bull soon.
