Question Meg, for Cassandra's romance do you need to kill the people for her Seeker quest first? I got to the point where I could ask her for advice but nothing after that (which is why I went Josephine)

Yeah, I think you can flirt with everyone, but once you do a person's personal quest, there's a definite locked-in moment where it literally tells you, "this will prevent any future romance with cass" or "this will start a romance with cass". I heard each romance is like that so there's no way for people to accidentally romance the wrong person.

Wait. I just realized you were talking about a different mission. You're talking about the mission where you have to go to different places and kill people she was looking for before the Inquisition, right? I only killed two of those people, but another quest of hers came up and I did that one and that's what led to her romance. I still haven't finished the one where you have to kill the 5 people so I don't know what happens when you finish it.

Necromancer is fucking rad. It's so awesome that I use the word rad to describe it.

Lol thanks Meg that clears things up.

And Odin it's good to hear that Necromancer is awesome because it just makes it sound like if you fully spec into a specialization its basically OP.

Oh and I literally went one on one with the Hinterlands High Dragon. As I said before, Knight Enchanter is OP as ****.

Godddd. The romance in this game... So many feels. I highly recommend locking-in your romance before doing the crit path missions. It adds in just the tiniest things here and there on the main story missions, (at least from the missions i've done) assuming you've brought your LI. All I know for sure is, Inquisitor + Cassandra = true wuv.

I'm in the process of obtaining the Nugalope, a giant Nug mount. Cuteness overload, badassery, and utility in one package? What's an Inquisition without a Nugalope?

I've had to take a break from DA:I. I'm loving it but since yesterday afternoon I've just found myself not really in the mood for RPGing (you know crafting, making sure everyone has the best equipment, dialog and codex's, that sort of stuff). Kind of annoying really <_<.

In fact I've found myself not really wanting to play anything that really requires any thought, needless to say I've been stuffing around in SR4.

So, my mage homies, is it possible to get a staff that does spirit damage? If so, how? I've been dragon hunting and it seems that like, 75% of the high dragons are weak to spirit damage, and as fun as it is burning them down with Walking Bomb, I'd like to be a bit more efficient in doing this...

I haven't come across a spirit staff that I recall. I do have one that does 20% more damage vs. dragons which helps a little. I can't remember if I added a rune to get that or if I found the staff that way though. Have you tried adding a spirit rune to a staff?

I don't have any spirit runes, I know they exist, but I don't have the schematics for them, and I can't find them in any shop. I did find a really nice schematic for a dragon slaying rune...just gonna get the stuff needed to make it.

Finally locked in Sera and got the romance scene... really well done: quirky, funny, touching, and definitely fits that romance.  Still not sure how close I am to beating this game and I'm 55 hours in!  Bioware really listened to the fans on this one.  Even loving the "little things" that have carried over from the prior two game.s  It feels like a truly fleshed out world where what I did before mattered at least a bit.

If you're aiming to be a completionist Kab, you're looking at 100-150 more hours lol. So much stuff to do.

And Odin to my knowledge only fire, ice, and lightning staffs exist. Like Meg said, there's runes that do that.

Not that this will help but Knight Enchanter's abilities all do spirit damage, which on top of their tankiness, is a big reason why I've been able to solo the first two high dragons (Hinterlands and Crestwood) effectively if my party perished. Fade Cloak not only breaks any root or stun and makes me invulnerable, but when I rematerialize within an enemy I do like 300% spirit damage. I can attack while cloaked too, but the cloak lasts 2 seconds anyway.

That plus Spirit Sword plus 30% all damage adds to my barrier. Sorry I know I keep saying it but I'm OP lol

I'm gettnig that... I'm trying to complete a lot of areas, by I so badly want to see how things go but then I don't want to miss an appearance from DAO or 2 so I have the urge to keep completing every area.  SO many amazing little nods here and there and then of course some "holy **** they did that?!" moments and yeah...... as soon as this run is done it's right back for a malequisitor and some cass time.

I've enjoyed the friendship that's sprung up with her and my Inquisitor and can't wait to see how a romance works.  Also, Dorian, Cass, Sera as a party leads to some awesome banter.

Don't worry, any cameos from the previous games will be made quite clear to you. It's like Bioware slaps a huge "HERE'S HAWKE" sign on your TV or something lol. Or whatever other person. Sadly haven't seen an Isabela cameo yet but she's mentioned by Hawke and Varric multiple times.

Don't recall if I've said this but Josephine's romance is great. So sweet. It's kind of got a whole Disney Princess thing to it. Tastefully done.

Eh, I actively decided to avoid KE because you said it was so good, I wasn't looking for easy mode for my first playthrough. That being said, all of the Necromancer's spells deal spirit damage too, it's just that walking bomb, and to a lesser degree, spirit mark do the best damage. I've downed three dragons so far, but the one in the Storm Coast was being an ass. Maybe it's because Sera's AI is pants-on-head retarded (WHY ARE YOU IN MELEE? I TOLD YOU TO FALL BACK!!!) but I end up burning through all my potions before he's at half health. Maybe going in with Dorian, Cassandra and Vivienne will give me better luck.

Also, Sera's romance is cute.

I hate it when I type too fast <_<

Also, Cass litho up for preorder and I couldn't resist.  My wallet dreads that they release Morrigan, Leli, Sera, Dorian, and a few nice area lithos now....

Nice, I downed the Storm Coast and Emerald Graves Dragon today...I think that makes five, can't be sure. Vivienne is key. KE's OP.
