I've killed 8/10 I think, but I can't remember which ones I haven't killed. I know I did the 3 in Emprise du Lion, Hissing Wastes, Storm Coast, and the Hinterlands. They all start to run together though. And after finishing all the side quests and war table stuff, I really don't feel like playing anymore. especially since I can't even spend quality time with Cassandra post-story completion. I'll have to fix my Keep import completely and start a new character one day, but I think I'll catch up on my shows and finish AC Unity, Far Cry 4 and the GoT TellTale game before I even attempt that.

Also, I really hope there's some good DAI DLC in the works that at least explains a tiny bit so we aren't completely confused for the next 3 years while they work on the next DA game.

There's also Dragon Age multiplayer! We should get a few matches in sometime, it's pretty fun.

But yeah I'm trying to work on Tales and GoT and then also my second playthrough as a 2H Warrior. Going to go specialize in Reaver.

I would laugh at that, but I just played the GoT TellTale game and I'm too much in shock/depressed to laugh at anything. Seriously guys... Holy f*ck.

On the bad side, characters from the show look pretty bad in the game. It's super distracting. Maybe it's just me though.

It's probably the Telltale art direction. Hard to land the faces exactly right from the show. Though Tyrion to me looks like a blend of Dinklage and books Tyrion. I dunno. I have to play it tomorrow.

Finished Episode 1 of Tales from the Borderlands though. It's totally awesome. Can't wait for Episode 2. Zer0 made me laugh a bunch.

Finally finished DA after a div x crash stopped me AT THE FINAL BATTLE for two days  

 

The DLC needs to come quickly damn it... and now I start anew.  Time to romance Cass.  And Bioware, patch please!  The PC version is very unstable with various GPUs right now.

It's not just the PC that's having issues, several times I was thrown back to the dashboard for no real reason, had the game lock up on the main menu repeatedly and sometimes failed to start at all. In addition to that, all the audio lag and the occasional conversation stopping for minutes at a time while things load (or at least I assume that's what's going on) make this one of the buggiest BioWare games I've ever played.

 

That being said, it's still freaking amazing, you don't have to break out the torches and pitchforks.

Made it roughly a year... though I don't see too many games coming out for the One soon, which is strange.  I got so used to the 360 at its peak I guess.  I think Tomb Raider is the only "exclusive" on the Xbox side outside of Ori and the Blind Forest that I want.  I say do a Gears of War remaster so we can have an awesome Friday and kill Locust again

That sounds good to me. I seriously miss hording with you guys! There aren't a lot of big next gen games coming out too soon period though. Most of them don't even have solid release dates yet, just a window of time. It's kind of weird how barren the next gen market is after a year.

Great industry icons choice... the memories.  And a new ****** King's Quest?! **** YES!

 

And first GOTY for DAI... well deserved.  Easily the best game this year.  Also, that violin performance of the DA theme was absolutely amazing.  This show was just really well done... getting away from Spike seemed to help this show actually be good and not something you wince through just to see the reveals.

Sorry for taking so long to replay been busy, had to build a shelf so I could get the XBO into the entertainment system and finally finished downloading the DL games that came with it today, I can't wait till the internet in this country is improved.

 

First impressions are positive but I am finding the UI a little awkward (as usual with a new console) but I should get used to it, haven't had a chance to actually play on it yet. As for bundle I got the Xbox One (no Kinect) and 5 games for $499 AUD, the games being Sunset Overdrive, Halo MCC, Forza 5 (DL), AC4 Black Flag (DL) and AC Unity (DL).

 

Unfortunately I can't start playing it till tomorrow because I have an early start in the morning

I finally finished DA:I! Damn, what a game!

 

**SPOILERS**

 

So... my initial reaction having finished (besides 'WTF????') is... are we going to play as the Inquisitor again? I know in DA games we've always had a new protagonist, but the ending of this game feels different, almost like we're only just getting started. I haven't read up on alternative endings but it seems most of the characters are alive too and could return, Inquisitor included. Obviously Leliana/Cass would likely not be around since one of them will be Divine, but hopefully at least a couple of the current party members could return in a future game, mixed up with some new faces. Would be nice to have some continuity, like with Mass Effect. 

 

I'm probably just talking nonsense though and will soon find out it's possible for all of the characters to die/want to leave the Inquisition. But I'm excited, and very happy with the ending. Usually when I finished a BW game I'm yelling at the screen for more, but I feel quite calm at the end of this one. Good times.

I'm glad you liked it, Andy. I know a lot of the party members can leave if you ****** them off enough. At least that's what Bioware said. I didn't have that happen though so I couldn't say for sure.

As for the inquisitor, it did feel like their story was just beginning, but at the same time, the thought that they would be a playable character again never even crossed my mind. The warden and Hawke had a lot of story left at the end of DA1 and 2 as well, but we always saw those things play out from a new perspective as a new protagonist in the next game and I guess I just assumed it'd be no different with the Inquisitor.

On another subject, for anyone playing Far Cry 4, apparently there's a secret alternate "ending" that triggers in the prologue if, instead of getting up and looking around, you do what Pagan Min says and just sit for a minute or so and wait for him to return. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds pretty cool.

Far Cry 4 has been amazing.. but then it is Far Cry 3 with some additions in a new area.  Why fix what isn't broken?  

 

And DA:I... second playthrough, romancing Cass.... awesome romance, though not sure if better than Sera, and hitting some points I missed in the first run.  This game is seriously challenging DA:O and that is one of my three favourite games.  This has got me stoked for ME4 now since they clearly listened to the fans after DA2 and took what worked there and what worked in Origins and created this......... my only real complaint is that we need more armour variations and some Skyhold clothing variants (the look suited my first Quisitor but damn, my male Quis looks strange in this beigish PJ look ).
