Has anyone heard of the game Life is Strange? Apparently it's an episodic game by DoNotNod who created Remember Me. Even though Remember Me was far from a perfect game, I really enjoyed it and Life is Strange sounds super interesting. Episode 1 comes out at the end of this month so I'll definitely be trying it out. I just wondered if anyone else had heard of it since it seems to be flying under the radar at this point.

Never heard of it, I might have to look into it even though my Steam backlog is kind of building up on me, so I don't know if I'll get it right away.

So I've been way behind on this. Happy whatever holidays I missed lol.

So...Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel are being released on Xbox One and PS4 with enhancements, save transfers, and ALL DLCS INCLUDED.

I... still haven't finished the Pre-Sequel on the 360. Honestly, I didn't like it as much as 2. I think I'll just wait for 3 at this point.

I agree with Meg. Pre-Sequel didn't really grab me. I actually sold it after I beat it, lol. It felt like more of the same, which isn't really bad...but I sunk a bunch of time into BL2 so the Pre-Sequel kind of felt like a slog to get through, there just wasn't enough new stuff to make me interested.

Honestly the performance upgrades are good enough for me. I would get it just for Borderlands 2. If you've ever seen the PC version in comparison to the 360/PS3 versions PC is leagues better.

Plus it will allow me to keep playing on my XB1 and with save transfers I might finally be inclined to get my Siren and Gunzerker to level 72.

Has anyone else played D4? I know I'm late to the party, but I just finished the available episodes and ended up loving it. It's your typical weird Japanese storytelling, but if you appreciate that as much as I do then I really recommend it.

The first episode of Life is Strange is really awesome. Just my two cents.

I'll throw two more cents in here and say that Dying Light is awesome and way better than either Dead Island game

Dying Light is pretty sweet. If I wasn't up to my eyes in homework, I'd probably be playing it a lot more, lol.

Really? I've been on the fence about picking that up. Is it like Mirror's Edge in a Resident Evil game? That's the impression I always got from it, but it could be super inaccurate.

It's not so much like Mirror's Edge. You're not going to be wallrunning and such but you can jump, clamber, and climb very fluidly. Almost closer to Assassins Creed, but in first person lol.

Combat is very similar to Dead Island, except not as clunky imo. Tons of melee weapons to choose from and to modify just like Dead Island. Some guns too of course.

The game has a more "survival" type feel to it. Zombies are a threat early game on their own. Late game they're more threatening in mobs, due to leveling your skills up. And venturing out at night is a whole more dangerous experience. Powerful zombies hunt during the night, combined with severely impaired vision and even more regular zombies, and great sound design, it can be a horrifying yet rewarding time, because all skill gains are doubled at night.

Man... I hope the next Mass Effect is like DA:I and makes up for that ending. I enjoy most of the game but that ending looms.  Have to say, Jack's romance carry over is just as awesome as Miri's though.  Loving it.

 

Speaking of DA:I... I need to get to work on my femQun run now.  Just didn't want to burn myself out so quickly.

Still love the Citadel DLC.  It is basically my official ending now.

I really hope DAI gets some Citadel-ish dlc. I need more Cassandra cuteness in my life.

Also, I'm really liking the Order 1886. I really don't see where all of the hate is coming from. It's not an "epic" game or anything, but I'm really, really enjoying it.

I was thinking about getting it.  Good to hear that some of th hate isn't as warranted.
