Ah, I totally forgot about your situation Kab. I'm sorry. I totally understand why Daredevil would be rough. My dad died about 6 months ago and the only thing I could watch for a while after that was anime. I don't know why, but it was oddly comforting.
Sorry to hear about that... and maybe it was the quirkiness of anime. Seems to be common that something a littloe quicky is the go to thing.

All I can tell you is to close the distance and swing away. You probably have higher stamina and stamina recovery than I did. Use your mobility to your advantage, as it's probably your only way to survive. In my Cainhurst armor with 34 vitality he was taking significant chunks of my health away. At least he's not a pain in the ass like Gwyn or King Allant.
....Either that or I severely lucked out.

I beat him about a half hour past that... but he just kept spamming the dodge out of every swing. Eventually, I got a lucky stun lock and wailed on him for a third of his health. once he switched to the third form though, it was bum rush him during the power up for the AoE and hope to get him out before he can teleport everywhere. The second fight was a cake walk...

Or I had gotten that good at parries by then. I don't remember which is true. Maybe a bit of both lol.

Huh, I must have been really lucky then when I fought Gwyn the first time. Parried the ever loving shyte out of him and beat him first try.

Parrying was never my strong suit, when I did get it down, Gwyn was kind of easy. However, he's so damned aggressive that it's difficult to get him into a situation where you can chain-parry him.

Huh...I guess that's what they did to replace equipment load...I did notice my old character's stamina recovery was pretty bad in comparison to my new character.

They have a lot of hidden mechanics in Bloodborne... need to get further in with my arcane build, but I''m continually tempted by DeS and a ninja cleric build there ![]()

I need to re-download Demon's Souls....I keep playing Bloodborne and leveling my Skill/Arcane character, but I don't want to get burned out on the game.

If I get a character to that level soon, I'll try and help Meg. And yeah, I was loving Unity till the ending was spoiled and I haven't been able to get back to it since. Ubisoft really needs to stop falling to that trope since it's been quite a few games where something similar happens.

Thanks, Kab, but no rush. I'll try again soon. I think I just needed to play some more chill games for a while before going back at it. I might pick up Dark Souls 2 eventually once I do beat Gherman though.
And as for AC... Yeah. I'm more than disappointed at this point. The only notable female characters in the universe, with the exception of that Assassin equivalent of Felicity Smoak whose name I forget (so not so notable after all), have all been killed. And it's never for a good reason. It's always used as a cheap way to push the story along or motivate the male protagonist. And the only 2 times they've had female assassins as the protagonists is in those cheap, super low-rated, downloadable arcade games that didn't really contribute to the universe at all and were literally only there to make money in between the "real games".
But, you know, I guess I can't really blame them considering how costly and difficult it would be for them to render female assassin models... *rolls eyes right out of my freaking head*

No joke, I just wrote like, a ten page paper on this shit.
But yeah, I wasn't super in love with AC Unity, I only played it for around an hour or so before I quit. Maybe it's for the best.

*just to be safe... AC spoilers
*
They do seem to have issues with storytelling period... from Lucy, to the big reset button that hasn't gone anywhere, all the way to Mary and Elize... AC is just struggling. I enjoyed Black Flag though and at least that death was actually contextually and historically accurate. The rest have always felt ham fisted. Which is a shame, because I thought Unity was shaping up to be great and then you get to the ending.
Also, totally get the "chill games"... I had to take a break and went to Oblivion after a couple of years away. So relaxing.

@Kab: I would agree that Ubisoft has issues with storytelling if I thought they put half as much effort into any of the newer games' stories as they did with 1 and 2. Its hard to progress, or even tell, a story when you're trying to write an entire video game's worth of story in a year. Every year. They clearly stopped caring about the quality of the games when they realized people would hand them money simply for slapping "Assassin's Creed" somewhere in the title and including a hidden blade somewhere. And I know I'm part of the problem because I contribute to it every time (even now, I want to try that Chronicles China game that looks like a Mark of the Ninja clone), but I guess I'll just forever be chasing that high of when Ezio was the protagonist.
In other news, I finished Wolfenstein The New Order and frakking loved it. During the first level it didn't really win me over, but then stuff happens and I totally fell in love. For anyone who hasn't tried it yet, I totally recommend it.
