Enjoying W3 so much more than the first 2 games.  I'm already more engaged and interested than I ever was before and the world is much easier to walk around in.  Seriously, waypoints, lovely things.  Fasttravel, fantastic.  And a much more expansive world.

Though, Amazon had to release the ME trilogy deal for 9 bucks.  Now I want to play those with some mods, specifially MEHEM just to see how it is.

Troy Baker and Laura Bailey are, like, the dream team of video game voices.

Also very happy to see you're enjoying TW3 Kab. Did you get it on XB1, PS4, or PC?

Welcome to the "Witcher 3 is Awesome" club, Kab!

And I love me some Laura Bailey, but I really like Ashly Burch (Tiny Tina) for certain roles too and she's popping up in a lot lately and is pretty versatile. I'm glad to see some new(ish) blood in the gaming VA world. As sad as it is to admit, every game can't have some combo of Nolan North, Troy Baker, Laura Bailey and Jennifer Hale.

Hey guys I'm good, I keep getting caught up in the Witcher 3 (not that that's a bad thing) I'm absolutely loving it and it looks so beautiful (playing on my pc, ultra settings). I just feel so badass after I defeat a monster that over double my level B)

Also quick tip that I recently discovered if you hold down fast attack when riding Roach, instead of just a tap, time will slow when you get near enemies saves a lot of swing and misses

Hm, thanks for the tip, Guardian. Glad to see you're loving the game too.

As for me, I just beat the game. Didn't finish all the sidequests yet due to a XP bug, but I crafted the Master Griffin set and got a good ending. And yes, there is a really bad ending you can get and without spoiling anything here's how to avoid it.

Geralt will have to take part in choices that affect amother character close to him in particular. To get the good ending, you'll want the choices Geralt makes to encourage confidence and doing things on one's own, rather than coddling and such. This will reflect better on the other said character and will result in two potential much better endings.

The Witcher 3 is addictive... and one thing I"ll give it, it's good dark fantasy.  I don't feel the overwhelming urge to set the world afire and watch it burn like so many other dark fantasies out there.  It's refreshing to actually see dark moments be earned instead of used for cheap emotional exploitation.  Granted, only about halfway through, but everything feels natural instead of a writer "punching me in the face after kicking me in the balls" contrived.

Though.. who do I go with?! YEN OR TRISS?!!!! IT"S TOO HARD TO CHOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yennefer. In my opinion, after seeing both romance arcs, Yen's is much more fleshed out and definitely more satisfying and rewarding. Probably because she's been on the sidelines in the games until now, and she's always been the love of Geralt's life. Plus, you get two sex scenes ;D

Lol but really, Yen and Geralt stuff in this game is perfect. It also kinda isn't a good look for Triss when you realize she knew about Geralt and Yen the whole time yet took advantage of Geralt's amnesia.

Dont forget too, Yen and Geralt are the adoptive parents of Ciri, more satisfying arcs there.

I agree with Badger. I still haven't beaten the game, but I feel like the Yennefer relationship is more of a partnership whereas with Triss, it kinda feels like babysitting sometimes and I get a creepy vibe. Which is weird because I loved Triss in TW2.

Plus, I started reading the books (halfway through the second) and it really fleshes out Yen's character and her and Geralt's relationship so I feel like I couldn't choose anyone but Yen. I highly recommend reading the first book which is essentially a collection of short stories called The Last Wish. Or even just the short story The Last Wish since it's about how Yen and Geralt met and there's mention of it in the game. /fangirling

A main character you see later in the game says something that rings true for the whole thing, and very accurately explains why going with Yennefer is a better idea, and highlights the underlying tension between Geralt, Yen, and Triss.

Said person says that Yen and Geralt are perfect for each other, they are equals in almost every way, and they act as the mother and father of Ciri. Triss acts like a sister to Ciri, but yearns for the chance to hop in bed with Geralt.

And like Meg said, if you read the books and see how Geralt and Yen interact in the game, they are literally perfect for each other. Triss's carefree bubbly personality is cool and all, but it's hard for me to justify being in a relationship with her over Yen.

And in addition to all that, I personally think Yen is a hell of a lot more attractive. Lol.

Not like I can't roll another go at the game and try the other next time.  Do have to change up some things anyway since this round is "well, let's see what happens when I do this...".

So...DOOM looks like it took a page out of the Brutal DOOM mod, which is fantastic, because that mod is the ONLY way to play it as far as I'm concerned. Fallout 4 looks phenomenal, but there's no surprise there...so excited for settlement building and custom power-armor...and Codsworth calling you by name (potentially, here's to hoping your chosen name isn't too esoteric, my dream remaking my pugilist character from FO:NV, DeMarcus Jackson has been slightly dampened )...and everything!!

Also, the more I hear the male protagonist, the less I hear Troy Baker and the more I hear Charlie Cox from Daredevil...maybe it's just me.

Finally...I've got Ryu in Smash Bros. So I've got that going for me, which is nice....

I've never been into Doom much, but it looked damn pretty. Honestly, I was hoping for any news on Wolfenstein because that game has become one of my favorites.

Dishonored 2 looks interesting as well though. We didn't get to see much, but it's nice to see a female protagonist.

I've been playing Fallout Shelter on my phone for the past 30 minutes and its actually pretty fun and strangely addicting. So there's that as well.

Mostly though, I'm just ready to build a f*cking doghouse and have my robot butler say my name.

Preordered the Pipboy edition already.  Wasn't passing that up.

Will wait on Doom... it tacked more towards the first two of just a lot of shooting and running instead of the horror and atmosphere of 3 (yes yes, Doom 3 was my favourite of the Doom games, Was never a big fan of the first 2).

Need to look at Fallout Shelter and see if I'll play it or if it'll sit there on my phone taking up space.  Who am I kidding, I'll get it and tinker here and there.  I get to be the evil overlo... *cough* supremely benevolent overseer that will guide my vault to a happy coexistence.  *brushes off shoulders*

See... I'll just hide in the darkness so you can only use your flashlight > : )

And MS did pretty good.  Wasn't in tune with most of the games they showed, though looking forward to gears 4, but ****** BC with the 360?!  FINALLY!  Also the holo lens was pretty damn cool.

BFG lights up everything.

So.....Fallout 4 will have full modding support on Xbox One. Yup. This game has claimed my soul.

Speaking of Souls...Dark Souls 3! Super excited about that, so long as Miyazaki is on board with it.
