Also, just rewatched the Psych series finale... damn, that is how you end a show!  I really hope they release a box set for the series.

Ah, happy (super) belated birthday, Kab!

 

And my birthday isn't until May 17th, for the record.

 

In other news, I finished Burial at Sea. It was really good. The gameplay was fun, especially in Episode 2, it looked amazing, the story was tight with as many twists as you'd expect from a Bioshock game, especially it being Ken Levine's sendoff of the series. BUT, all that said, the events that actually transpired made me kinda wish I hadn't played it so that the Bioshock Infinite ending would have been my last impression of Booker and Elizabeth and the end of their story would have been up to my imagination. Even so, it was really awesome to revisit Rapture and even see some of it before all of the chaos.

I was only off by a month...not TOO terrible...just a little terrible.

 

I bought Burial at Sea part 1, just haven't gotten around to playing it, what with Dark Souls 2, Stick of Truth, and inFamous taking all my free time. I'll definitely need to make the time to play it though.

So, I finally caved and bought a PS4! Seriously, I couldn't be more excited. It took so much effort not to squee in the car on the way home.

I only bought Infamous, but I downloaded Mercenary Kings and I'll probably download Knack for my son. I'm mostly stoked to have a next gen console to play Watchdogs on next month.

Yes... been waiting months for that game and finally coming out.  Mercenary kings is pretty fun and if you are lucky, Resogun and Contrast might still be free for PS+ still.

Grats! Seriously, anything next gen is exciting. I don't play on XB1 as much as I should, but that's just because of my huge backlog on 360. Work doesn't help with that lol. Have fun though, of course, I'm sure you will

I didn't have much of an interest in Resogun and Contrast so I'm not too bothered that they aren't free anymore. Thanks for the tip though! :-)

Thanks, Badger. I could have gotten an XB1 too, but all the exclusives I'm interested in don't even have a release date at this point so I figured I'd save my money. It is nice having something to play games with next gen graphics and whatnot though. I'm kind of stoked just thinking about what the next Fallout or Borderlands or Mass Effect games are going to look like when they come out eventually.

If you don't get Dragon Age on PC... that will be a showcase title for the consoles.  I want that game so badly..

Of course! Having money is a good thing lol. Besides, being able to play on a next gen system is better than not having one at all.

I'll try Qunari... well all of them of course.  But I am stoked to be able to play an elf again. I hope the characters are as awesome as the last two games and some good romance options.
