I love the Warlock!!! I too played an Awoken and it was sweet, it's probably gonna be my main class in the full game. Sadly, I maxed it and there's not much else for me to do right now on her. I did start a human titan though...that should be fun. I hope theres differences in the races in the full game, though it a being purely cosmetic choice isn't the worst thing that could happen.

Yeah, I'm really hoping the same thing. There's some really interesting backstory on the Exos and Awoken though so I'm hoping they did that for reason. If you read the wiki, the Exo were built to fight something during the golden age when there was supposedly no war or strife, but their memories were wiped and reprogrammed so no one knows why they were built. To me, that sounds like a deliberate set up, but that could be wishful thinking on my part. The Awoken's history is just as vague though so who knows.

Oh hey, the beta's back up. And apparently it's available for the XB1 crowd too. Also Nathan Fillion is in the game...I'm just learning things all over the place today!

Oh yeah! He's the Hunter's contact in the Tower or whatever, right? I thought I heard Laura Bailey as an NPC somewhere too, but it might not have been.Oh hey, the beta's back up. Yeah, that's him. I started a Hunter today and giggled like a schoolgirl when I heard him. I need to keep an ear out for Laura Bailey, though...maybe I'm so used to hearing her voice that it doesn't stand out to me anymore, lol

I just realized that I have two extra Destiny Beta codes for anyone who wants them. I'm pretty sure they'll only work for PS4 in America though bc of how I set mine up. Here are the codes for anyone who might want one. Just redeem it on the Playstation store and you should be good.

On a sidenote, I've been playing Destiny since 7:30 this morning and it's pretty awesome. It has a big MMO feel to it, but it hasn't been too grindy, at least not so far. And there's enough story behind the missions to keep it interesting. They also added some effects to Dinklage's (Ghost) voice so he sound a lot better and more like a robot companion. And this is coming from someone who, despite loving the dude, couldn't help but cringe at his voice acting in the videos at E3. The combat plays a lot like Halo, but with enough differences that it doesn't feel boring. Like I said, I've been playing it for 8 hours now and still love it so they must be doing something right.
Well, claimed the second code to try it out... can't hurt to give it a try ![]()

I thought I heard Claudia Black in a game recently, but I couldn't remember which one and since I've been playing The Old Republic, I just figured it was that and not Destiny. You could be right though.I played some of the beta the first day and thought it seemed fun. I thought I heard Claudia Black at one of the stores, but since none of you have mentioned it, maybe not...
On a completely unrelated note... Did anyone else just get that "Nightmare" teaser video from Bioware??? What. The. Fuuuuuuu

Destiny is interesting so far... sort comes off as a mix of borderlands meets defiance... shooting is crisp though.
Also, Alpha Protocol needs a sequel.. recently replayed it and I forgot how good that game is.

Which reminds me... Wasn't Rockstar working on a game called Agent like... forever ago? What the hell happened to that? It sounded awesome.

I loved Alpha Protocol! It was a really, really flawed game, but there was so much potential there. =(

I hear cancelled then not cancelled then maybe cancelled... I don't even thing Rockstar knows at this point.

Bummer. I guess I'll have to settle for Red Dead 2... Although I'd never need another new game again if Bethesda would make Fallout 4. Especially if it was half as good as Skyrim.

Fallout 4 would be amazing...
I have nothing useful or insightful to add. Just wanted to say that.

I love your avatar! I lost way too many hours of my life to P4 last year! Such a good game.

I want P5 already... and yes, Fallout 4 would be amzing. Though if they suddenly came out and said it took so long because they were waiting on Obsidian to finish Pillars of Eternity so they could handle most of the work I'd probably have fits.
Let's hope that Bioware and Bethesda/Obsidian never decide to collaborate... I'd have to make temporal twins of myself somehow to make sure I still pay attention to real life ![]()

Thanks! Kanji's my bro. I just finished P4 about a week or so and I'm already going through withdrawls...I might have to pick up P3 to hold me over until P5 comes out...
@Kab: I want Pillars of Eternity so freaking bad...like, you don't even realize. Also, I'd cry manly tears of joy if Bethesda decided to allow Obsidian to handle most of the heavy lifting with Fallout 4 because New Vegas, despite all it's faults, was amazing.

Only a few more months... and Wasteland 2 should be out. Get that since I kickstarted a couple games. Darn Tides getting pushed back a bit.
And yes.... New Vegas was amazing. Alpha Protocol was amazing. In fact, there only issue is bugginess. So let someone do the QA and Obsidian handle the characters and story and we are good! Though, more in depth romances would be nice. One thing they both could take from Bioware.

Also, has anyone seen or read Attack on Titan? I never get into manga or anime, but I started watching the show on Netflix on a hunch and I haven't been able to stop for the past 5 hours. It's sooo good.

I started watching Attack on Titan yesterday, I've only watched the first episode, but everyone keeps raving about it, so I should probably keep at it.

I was on the fence for the first few episodes, but after episode 5 I was completely sucked in. I recommend you watch it at least until that point because it just ramps up from there and if you aren't into it by the end of that episode, it's probably not for you. I ended up watching 20 episodes yesterday though and I'm dying having to hold off on the last 5 so I could come to work instead. Things get f*cking crazy and awesome.I started watching Attack on Titan yesterday, I've only watched the first episode, but everyone keeps raving about it, so I should probably keep at it.

That's what I keep hearing, I just need to make some free time to watch it. I expect great things with all these recommendations. ![]()
