Tried watchint Attack on Titan but just couldn't get hooked. It may have been because I just had finished watching Dragon Ball Z from beginning to end in about a month, so the bar was pretty damn high. I might have to give it another shot though.

Speaking of which I'm excited for Battle of Gods to arrive in theaters next week.

See, I love DBZ, (Trunks for life <3) but I thought Attack on Titan was better. I don't know if it was the violence or what, but AoT felt like a more mature anime to me. It's definitely not for everyone though. The Titans are kind of ridiculous looking, but I think the juxtaposition of their goofy appearance and the actual terror of what they can do made them pretty horrifying. If you didn't like it then it might not be for you though. Like I told Odin though, I'd recommend at least watching until the 5th episode and then see how you feel. And if you can't get into the subtitles, then maybe try finding the English dubbed version online somewhere. I've heard it's actually pretty good too.

But I'll quit raving and trying to convert everyone now, promise. =)

Lol I love Trunks. Goten too. They're moments were the best.

But like I said I didn't get pulled in probably because I was fresh off of DBZ and its hard to appreciate another anime when all you want is more DBZ.

Of course now all this anime talk is making me want to go back and watch the whole series again =/

I literally just read the wiki for that this afternoon and thought it sounded interesting. I'm definitely going to check that out. Thanks, Odin! =)

No problem! I've just started to get back into anime recently and of all the most recent ones to be aired, Attack on Titan and Kill La Kill seem to be the best.

Now I want to rewatch Cowboy Bebop...I feel that Persona 4 is to blame for all this. And I'm okay with that.

I've never seen Cowboy Bebop or played any of the Persona games. The only anime I was ever into was Dragonball Z when I was little. And Digimon, but that isn't really anime. I got my son into Digimon recently though and then Netflix recommended Attack on Titan and I've been trying to fill the gap that show left in my life ever since I finished it. I bought the first two Attack on Titan mangas and have been reading them and I watched some super cheesy anime shows like Sword Art Online and Eden of the East which were alright, but I'm liking Kill La Kill a lot more. I think I might just have to try Persona soon...

Persona is amazing! I'd recommend Persona 4, it's the most forgiving of the series, but can still be tough at times. Or, alternatively if you don't feel like spending 70+ hours on a game or it ends up not being your kind of game, you can watch the anime.

ANd I recommend the vita version if you have that system.  Persona 5 cannot get her quick enough.

Also, ME2 endgame... the feels man.  The feels!

I don't own a Vita. =\ I'll def have to try Persona 4 sometime soon though.

I finished Kill la Kill the other day and loved it so much. Thanks for the recommendation, Odin! I'm watching Blue Exorcist now and I'm liking it a lot too. Basically I'm just jumping into the whatever anime recommendation Netflix gives me that I've heard good things about.

And I barely remember the ME2 end game at this point, Kab. I just remember crying over ME3's endgame over and over. Lol.

Does anyone here play Marvel Puzzle Quest? I play it pretty much every day and I'm trying so hard to get Deadpool right now that I think I might die. But my point is, if anyone does play, we should make an alliance so we get extra rewards and stuff. And if you don't play, you should because it's fun and addicting as hell.

One thing about trips... getting back and turning on the UPS and strips then checking ever device to make sure it powers up.  Though the PS3 auto starts if you have it set for auto updates and it was powered down.

And I haven't even heard of Marvel Puzzle Quest til now Meg :P

@Kab: Ditto on Marvel Puzzle Quest...might have to look it up.

@Meg: I now know what I'm going to be watching after I finish Attack on Titan...Blue Exorcist seemed interesting to me, but I never got around to watching it. Also, I'm glad you liked Kill la Kill! It easily became one of my favorite animes ever.

All this talk on anime reminds me...

Season 6 of DBZ is on Blu Ray now and looks amazing. Also did you guys know the voice of Handsome Jack was the voice of Cell? Also the voice of Mr Torgue was the voice of Mr Satan. Kinda awesome.

Marvel Puzzle Quest is a mobile game so it's not surprising you haven't heard of it. It's like Bejeweled meets a Pokemon card game, only with Marvel heroes and villains. I play it on breaks at work and when I'm watching tv. It's free, I think, so you should try it out at least, if you ever have a reason to play simple mobile games.

@Odin: Kill la Kill has definitely become one of my favorite shows. It kind of sucks that there won't be a season two, but I guess they're releasing an OVA episode in September or sometime around there so that's better than nothing. Besides, they left it at a really good place so it'd feel kind of forced if they tried to make another season. I'm so glad I watched it though.

Ah...I don't have one of them fancy smart phones. /sadtrombone

But yeah, as much as I want a season 2 for Kill la Kill, I have to agree that I'd rather it end on the note that it did, than risk them making a second season that's up to the same standards. I've seen far too many TV shows fall into that trap.

I am and I'm not.. it's weird.  He was part of KotoR and the greatness of 1 and 2 and even the wonderful parts of 3.  But damn it, that disconnect from the audience emotionally and intellectually then apparently really only doing that ending between himself and Walters.... gonna haunt his "legacy" forever.

Still a little angry over that ending but... Citadel DLC helped at least make 3 playable without feeling like a chore now.

I didn't love the ME3 ending, but that was just a small part of everything Casey's done so I'm kind of sad he left. That seems crazy sudden though. I wonder what happened?

I think this may have had something to do with it :P ....But seriously though, Casey did great work, I loved KOTOR dearly and ME is still one of my favorite universes, and I'm interested in seeing what they have to offer with ME4. But the fact remains that he is partly responsible for the massive shytestorm surrounding ME3 and the overall loss of confidence in Bioware as a result of said shytestorm.

The way I see it is, bottom line, we probably wouldn't have a Kotor or Mass Effect if it werent for Casey Hudson taking the helm, and for that I will miss his contributions at BioWare. I could care less about the ME3 ending, trying to imagine a life without Mass Effect or Kotor is a life I would not want to have.

He honestly left to "retire" from developing games to take a break and spend more time with his family, which I get. Seems to be the thing nowadays with devs. I'm sure we'll hear from him again, when he starts up an indie studio a few years from now or something. They never do stay away too long, Cliff Bleszinski is already back with BossKey and making an arena shooter.

KOTOR definitely would have happened, you don't get a license like Star Wars just to sit on it... Mass Effect, while it may have happened, it probably wouldn't have been the beast that it is today (I mean that in the best sense of the word). I'm grateful for the things he gave us, make no mistake, And like you said, Badger, we'll probably see him again sooner than we'd think, making new worlds for us to enjoy....only to have him destroy it two games later. :D
