My daughter needs a new school bag...Part of me wonders, whether something that does NOT involve 'Winx', 'My Little Pony' and Disney Fairies\Princess even exists in this world...A simple and nice tasteful school bag for a 7y old girl, is it too much to hope for?..

Bahaha. The little kids' section is pretty scary. I have to wonder if there are just plain colored bags anymore. Everything's trying to sell you on shows and characters.
But do kids even like "boring" bags anymore?

It depends. I'm trying hard to avoid 'branded' stuff, most of it is overpriced and very poorly done. I know she likes fairies and unicorns, but I try to find her something unique, not another cloned Tinkerbell. It works. Most of the times.
If I'm lucky, flowers and butterflies may also do the trick... ![]()

Tomorrow is our final performance of The Spoon River Project. I was excited about getting to shave tomorrow, but I got cast in the next show, and the director really likes my moustache. Looks like another two months of facial hair for me.

Lol! That's really funny. So are you growing to like it yourself? I think it looks pretty good.
So is the final performance tonight then? Hope it goes well ![]()

Facial hair is awesome!!
It depends. To look at - may be, sometimes...but as for other aspects I'd rather choose something... smoother... ![]()

LOL Nrieh, once it's long enough it gets soft again... beards do add an additional sensation to some activities.

Marcos, congrats for getting cast in the next show and I 2nd Ash's question; Have you grown to like it?

Kunari801, I guess, I'll take that on trust.
All the cases I'm familiar with must've been definitely not 'long enough'... ![]()

Bahaha. I'm with Nrieh. I'm not a fan of the sensation.

Scruffy is way too scratchy, I'd say about this long is about where the softness comes in.
Shorter scruffy looks hot but can be scratchy.

One of my friends doctored up a photo she took of me while I was trying on parts of my costume a few weeks ago.

As for me liking it... I still prefer having stubble over a full on beard or moustache. I was going to shave everything off until my director changed his mind and decided he wanted to keep it.

Nice photo!
And nice beard too.

It looks great, bro. Does the directer want the same kind of beard? Does that mean you already have a part in the next show?

Yeah, I also told you it'd fill in well and it looks like it did indeed do that. Well, that style was for the period of the play (I infer from the pictures you've posted) is the next play in the same? Maybe he'll have you trim it a bit shorter and not wax the mustache into curls.

Definitely changed like a few week ago, but feels like its been like this for a long time now, I mean i've been apart of the BSN as it were since 2009, but its only in the past couples months i've actually started to be active, so the new site feels more like a home to me xD (sounds strange doesn't it?)

Good to see you, Con! Glad you made the transition.
@Nrieh - Thanks. While I'm not a fan of keeping beard, I do like how that photo turned out.
@Ash - Yeah, I'm in the next show. They asked that I shave the beard and keep the moustache.
@Ku - I had to gel it down to make it look fuller that it really is. The time period for the last play was 1800's. We're all ghosts that died at different times, so pretty much any time during that century is what we were going for. This time it's set in the 1940's. I don't know what they are planning to do with my moustache yet. All I know is I can't shave it. I trimmed my beard down rather than shave it off comletely. I'll shave it off when we get closer to the show opening.

Congratulations to Michigan! I hope it sticks. Oregon has to wait until voting opens in November, but I'm confident that the voters are on our side.
