Ah... Mars:War Logs. Well, I agree it's got plenty of rough spots but I liked it.

Probably, I'll give it another try. But it looks poor, many old games had better visualization. It sounds form mediocre to bad - VAs do not sound right. I've heard about the mess with English version, but it looks like I've got an updated one (lucky me).
Not to mention that I only had controls over my character something like 5 minutes after he appeared on the screen. He was standing still and silent in front of that fat pig, clinking with (whatever that thing was) and trying to maintain badass looks. . I think that intro could have worked for a fully premade character, with no RP options at all, with fixed dialogues etc. But that's not a way to 'immerse' one into the character. Damn, for the first 10 minutes I was sure that it's that boy I'm going to play with.

I thought it was fine. I really liked the combat though. The other stuff was pretty standard for that level of game. You just gotta know what you're getting into. It's no bioware game.
I didn't get to finish it though. I got sucked back into MMOs and I haven't been able to escape, lol.

Nrieh, I too thought the PC was going to be the boy. If you don't like the setting and everything bothers you too then no worries. There are plenty of "good" games that I don't like.

It's no bioware game.
Neither is 'Remember Me', which was also a relatively small project from an unknown French studio. It looks and sounds million times better, really. I do not usually pay much attention to the graphics, I can easily play many 10+ years old games with awkward 'square' models and shabby textures. But this thing does not look impressive even when compared to the old games.
probably, that's because I was expecting something better.

Lol, did y'all see this? First off, Ike is back for Smash! He's one of my favorites ;D
But this article says some people think he's too buff. I thought that was pretty funny. What do y'all think? I think he looks pretty damn awesome. He's definitely no Donkey Kong.
He's probably gonna be my go to guy. Still wanna try Little Mac and Villager though.

I am also glad he is back. He was my second main in Brawl. Zelda is my first.
His design is based off his appearance in Radiant Dawn, which is three years after Path of Radiance. He was only 17 in PoR, so he was a scrawny teenager. Now he's grown into adulthood, and in his line of work, it makes sense that he would bulk up a bit.
I think he looks fantastic, personally. His new model fits his moveset for Smash much better. He was a slow-moving heavy-hitter, and now he look like he actually has the strength to swing that sword of his.
I'm surprised this article is showcasing such a strong negative reaction to the new Ike. Over on the SmashBoards, a huge majority of players like the new model better:

Ike in Path of Radiance Ike in Radiant Dawn
Cutscene of Ike in Radiant Dawn: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=DgvNwec-9bA
I don't understand why anyone expected him to keep his older model. He's not a slender boy anymore in the games he originates from, so why would he be in Smash?

I have no idea why people don't like the new Ike. He looks great. I wonder if the same people complained about him in RD. He looks exactly the same. Seems silly.
I'm just so happy he's back. Roy used to be my favorite and they got rid of him so I was pretty paranoid Ike'd be gone too.

It's a legitimate fear. Ike was a character many people placed high on a list of potential cuts. Ever since Fire Emblem was added to Smash Bros., the trend was Marth + the lord from the most recent game. So a lot of people thought Chrom would replace Ike, as Ike replaced Roy.
But the advantage Ike has over Roy is he was the lord for two games, whereas Roy only has the one game that wasn't released overseas. That, and Roy was just a clone of Marth (same moveset) while Ike plays completely different from Marth.
And there is no reason Fire Emblem has to be limited to just two characters. The series has really grown in popularity, and Awakening was especially well received. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chrom or possibly Robin (the player character) join the Smash Roster. The disadvantage Chrom has is he is yet another blue-haired male swordsman from a game that has such a diverse cast of characters. Robin would be easier to create a unique moveset for that sets him/her apart from the Fire Emblem veterans.
And as the Wii Fit Trainer and Villager have shown us, they could easily make Robin playable as either male or female.

Man, I miss Roy.
I agree though. They should let Fire Emblem have more characters. I think they should just add them all ;D
That's an awesome idea about Robin. They could easily do that.
I cannot wait for this game to come out.

Me neither, sis. The 3DS version is supposed to come out this summer, and the Wii U version will come out this winter. I'm probably going to get both, because I know the Wii U version will be better, but I just can't wait that long. ![]()
I've got my fingers crossed for four Fire Emblem reps, but I'd be happy with at least three. If they do bring back Roy, they'll need to rework his moveset to differentiate him from Marth.

I'm waiting until I finish my finals before I pick it up.
Who are you racing as? I'm thinking I will probably use Ludwig Von Koopa as my main racer.

I've always played as Koopa Troopa, but I'm really liking Iggy. His facial expression is pretty hilarious. I'll probably stick with him.

Roy's so great. He's got the awesomest tricks, and I love his voice. I usually don't play a heavy but he's just too fun. Taking some getting used to though.

I finally got Mario Kart 8. I've raced with all of the Koopalings except Iggy. I seem to have an easier time with the light weights, which is a shame, because I want to get good with either Ludwig or Roy. I raced with Rosalina with some decent success in Mario Kart Wii, so I thought I could do heavy weights fine. This is the first time I've ever tried to main a medium weight, though.
Also, my ID is L2Sentinel.

Have you messed with the cart weights and stuff? If you like the light weights, maybe try just pumping up a heavy with acceleration. That what I do with Roy.
I'm gonna add ya ;P
