You have to pick a light cart is all. Just optimize for acceleration, I mean. Mr scooty with the button wheels and the mktv glider give the best acceleration for heavy. There's other combos too though.
Try it out and see if it works for ya. Might take a few races to get used to it. Just give it a chance.

Oh. Where do you see the stats on the different pieces? Game pad? I race with the classic controller so I never noticed it.

Nah, I think you hit the + button and that toggles the stats on. It's on the cart select screen.

Hopefully now you can give Roy a true shot. I've never tried messing with the light weights. Maybe the same results are possible.
Also, The Sims 4 is looking pretty good. Forgot about that one. Not a fan of the style, but the customizer looks pretty good. I might get a new graphics card for this one.

My friend is trying to get me to play WildStar with him, but it's a little much on my graphics card. I have to set the visual settings so low that it's hard to really enjoy the game. I need a new one, too.

I've been there during beta, and I enjoyed it. I'm out of MMOs currently, but I still think that it's a good game worth trying out. It has style, nice setting and plenty of humor. It reminded me of vanilla WoW somehow, looked very.....hmm..refreshing. I never played the release, though...

I think the art style is charming in it's own way. It reminds me of Team Fortress 2. I didn't play it much so I don't know what the endgame experience is like. But from what I did play, I liked it. The template based combat style is kind of a refreshing change from autotargeting skills and attacks.

Yeah. Too many good Fire Emblem characters to choose from. If only we could have 150 characters in Smash without it completely ruining the game balance wise. ![]()

What do you think? I'm really disappointed with it, honestly. I especially dislike the inclusion of Dark Pit. That seemed really pointless to me. He adds nothing of value to the game. Wasted resources.

I'm ok with it I guess. It's less than stellar that's for sure, but I wanna see how everyone plays. I was afraid Diddy wasn't coming back so I'm happy he's here. Loving Lucina and Little Mac too.
Playing the demo and villager is really fun, but I can't see her as being a useful character in the long run. Has strong smashes and amazing recovery, but just seems like a gimicky character.
I was really confused at Duck Hunt Dog at first, but now I see why he was included. I imagine every kid of my generation is seriously looking forward to beating the **** out of that guy. I bet his taunt is really annoying, lol.
Dark Pit is definitely the lame one so far. Seems totally pointless, but he's a heavy with no launch. That might be why he's here. I don't think any other character plays like that. He's gonna be weird to play.

Actually, the Duck Hunt dog's infamous laugh isn't a taunt; he does it during the countdown before the match starts. My only grievance with him is I don't understand why the duck is helping him. They aren't friends. The dog's job in Duck Hunt is to collect the carcasses of the ducks the player kills. The smash attacks, moves with the clay pigeon and bean can, etc. are all good. The dog is telling the hunter where to shoot. The moves where the duck is fighting and/or aiding the dog just make no sense to me.
Toad was the Mario newcomer I wanted the most, so I was really disappointed about Bowser Jr. until I found out that you can play as all of the Koopalings as well. I'm no fan of Bowser Jr., he replaced the koopalings for a really long time in the main series, but I never imagined the koopalings could be playable in Smash If Jr. was the only way that was possible, well maybe he isn't so terrible after all. I get to play Ludwig in Mario Kart and Smash!? It's a good year for me.
I also really wanted Dixie Kong. I don't get how Kid Icarus got three characters and the Donkey Kong series still only has two.

Bahaha, well I won't be playing as Duck Hunt Dog. Just wanna know how to kill him. I guess the duck and dog are working together just for nostalgia. I never figured they'd be working together. That's a strange choice for Sakurai. I can't believe they're not using his laugh for his taunt. Maybe they figured it'd be too much, lol.
And I couldn't believe you could play as all the koopalings either. That's just an awesome idea. Not sure why he did it that way, but I can't wait to try them out.
I was hoping for Dixie too. I can't figure out why there's only Diddy and Donkey either. I mean, not only is there Dixie, but they've got Funky in there too they could use. Dixie seems the likely candidate though. They could even throw in Kiddy somewhere.

A huge part of the Smash community wanted King K. Rool. There's a lot of people that think Smash needs more villains in general, and that Donkey Kong is long overdue for a third representative. Personally, I think both Dixie Kong and King K. Rool should have been added. If Fire Emblem can have two newcomers, surely Donkey Kong can as well.

DK even had a new game not too long ago. It wasn't that great, but it should be on people's minds. It's really surprising the characters they dredge up instead of DK characters, lol.

Jungle Freeze. I'd like to point out that Dixie Kong was playable in that, too. And for the first time in a Donkey Kong Country game, you can also play as Cranky Kong.

So I'm lovin' smash 3ds sort of. I can't get my hands around the 3ds for how I like to play really though. My favorite characters are Lucina, Diddy, Little Mac, and Ike. I tried Robin, but I'm havin' trouble with her.
Is anybody else havin' trouble smashing? I feel like percentages get way higher in this one than previous games. Am I just not used to the characters yet?
I'm lookin' forward to Smash Wii U. I might get my own for this. Happy accident or bad luck, but I'm already off work that week for DAI. I'd wanted more time to play that before smash came out, but hey, at least I've already got the day off.
