More or less, but combat is a bit slower paced compared to WoW's

The thought of going back to a raid schedule and gear grind still just makes me  .  I got so burned out in my last MMO it ended up feeling like a job and I nearly quit gaming all together.

 

Don't get me wrong, if a MMO is right for you guys I have nothing against it. I had fun in WOW, EVE, and other MMOs for years.  So feel free to talk about them here as well, the pics were tempting me to try but I'm just not there yet.  Maybe soon.

Same here. I can never get into raiding and gear grinding and stuff either. I hate feeling like I absolutely have to do something in a game.

I really just like making new characters and hanging out with friends who play. Bahaha! I'm a really lazy mmo player.

It will also be free to play, and the cash shop system is basically 100% vanity items, there is a membership tier system but all it basically does is grant extra character and bank slots

Well, Final fantasy raiding it actually quite slow paced. you don't have to do it every week in the resets (although the current raids will no longer give lock outs once 2.2 hits in march)

 

they made it slow placed. can do raids with randoms (takes a while for tanks and healers to join) and final fantasy is mainly about the story (which you have to go through to raid anyhow)

It looks good. Several things I look for in an MMOs. Appearance separate from stats, and learning abilities by using are things I love in MMOs.

 

I'm not a fan of the style, but if it's fun to play and look good, then I don't care so much. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Speaking of MMOs - I'd recommend to take a look at WildStar. I had a chance to run beta.

It reminded me of early WOW a little bit, and made me feel nostalgic. It has style, humor and a nice setting.

I've had my share of MMOs, and I was not actually looking for any of those, it's just a friend of mine linked me a spare beta-key. I did not expect to enjoy it at all, but it felt good.

Yeah, there are days where Tanks fill fast and healers are missing. or healers fill fast and tanks go missing.

Yeah, finally cleared Bahamut Turn 5, it's until 2.2 update, the most difficult activity in the game :3

 

 

 

I'm quite happy I was able to clear it before 2.2 nerf :x

truthfully even after 2.2 comes i'm sure people will try clear it without the echo buff

Ya lol, sure, not gonna happen, people are lazy in this game & are soooooooo gonna use the buff everytime since there is no way for people outide the pt to know if people use it or not >.>

Yes, I had to expand the FOV in Bioshock and the other FPS I played recently, "Mars War Logs" and "Spec Ops: The Line"

I recommend Spec Ops for good action and story.
Mars Logs is also good and in a interesting sci-fi setting

Spec Ops: The Line is an amazing game, so different from "normal" fps. It was a pleasant surprise.

My copy of ToS Chronicles arrived today, been 6 years since I last played this game on the GC, and oh my, the wave of nostalgia that has enveloped me has been incredible, I forgot how much I loved this JRPG, it really is one of my all time favourite games

Lol, Roi! Who cares if someone uses the buff or not? If that's how someone can enjoy the game, then more power to them. I think it's a good idea to have different levels of play. Not everybody's awesome at games ;D However, they shouldn't get the same rewards. Can't agree with that.

It's a shame that there's never a worldwide release date for games. Oh well - I'd never trade my British accent to have a game slightly early :')

but those items will be outdated with 2.2, new coil turns (harder then T5) new type of tomes, uncapped myth which makes it easier to get relic +1 and your Myth gear.

Man, that's right around when FFX comes back. I'll have to snag it after that 'cause I'm gonna be enjoying FFX for a long while. I haven't finished Dark Souls yet though either, lol.

 

The only game I remember having a worldwide release was Pokemon X/Y. It was awesome. More games should do that. Pokemon was special though. You got to battle anyone and trade with anyone at anytime so a worldwide release just made sense.
