So I played TESO the whole WE & I must admit I was pretty pleased with the game & I will buy it!
The game is clearly aiming to gamers & that's something I like, no ultra fast xp à la FFXIVARR where you don't even bother to try to buing/farming equipement before you reach lv50, thank you very much FATE. I was really pleased that the XP is slower so I can appriciate leveling, skill up & looting stuff, & tha you know stuff you got gonna last a little, not having to change it 1 hour later.
The landscapes are great, very huge zones, really close to FFXIV v1, bigger than TSW or FFXIVARR, but with the same diversity for the landcapes. I played mostly in north regions (you can choose 3 differents at start, depenting on your race).

(this is the main charater I used for beta, in north region, a sorcerer from Nord)
There is a lot of quests & sub quests & the amazing thing is that they are all very different, not at all boring (unlike FFXIV trash quests, because ya, quests not in the main scenario are trash, always doing the same thing, even some of the main history are ;o;)
The downside is that in TESO, like in Skyrim, there's no cutscene, not even one with game engin & in that subject, FFXIV does a great job.
The music are also really nice & the gameplay really close to Skyrim, I found it was easier to aim in TESO though, but they need to work the HUD imo, because it's really too basic & lack informations (buff, debuff, search engin, show players names on top of the character, a way to know their "job" ...)
I also like the skill up, like in skyrim, the more you use a skill, a weapon, (etc) the more it become powerfull & can be updraged with skill points you earn (earned at level up, some main quest reward or buy collecting 3 shardes so far) & the fact that all "jobs" have 3 possibile path (for exemple, sorcerer: summon, dark magic & lightning magic), so, in the game, all sorcerers are not gonna have the same speciality & spells. Theres's also active & passive skills you can learn from the weapon you use, armor your wear (3 types, light, medium & heavy, each with specifics skills), from the environments, from guilds (etc). I also liked the fact that the world is not just a landscape & that there's hidden items like Shards or treasure coffer.
Overall it was really good to play the game, really mature univers, all quests & sub quests with a scenario, not just go there & get this or kill this.
Also, character creation is really good & that was really pleasing to have so much criteria to choose (but seriously, the haircuts are horrible :x)

(This is the second character i created, from western region, Altmer, most likely the race Ill chose since I like sorcerer a lot in this game & yeah i know, he looks like the first one, did that on purpose to see the diffreence between the 2 races & it's in the eyes, seems way more cleaver than the nord one XD)
That's all! I promised i'll told you about the beta after I tried it & so I did ^^
If you have some question I will try to answer!
