There seems to be a few JRPG fans in here with talks of Final fantasy and the Tales games - do you guys recommend Blue Dragon? I purchased it for only £4. I'm enjoying it, although, so far it seems a little slow. I haven't got an awful lot of free time to commit to games as much as I used to, so I save the time for the games that are good and worth the time. Is this worth me investing more time in?

Only played the demo, i didn't really liked it. But if yu have an Xbox360, you should absoluetly get Lost Odyssey, best JRPG of the now old gen after Xenoblade Chronicles & The Last Story

I like/love a ton of JRPGs and honestly Blue Dragon is literally out of the hundreds i've played, the only one i've disliked for reasons that I can't really explain.
And i second Rovias' notion, Lost Odyssey is awesome, I would also recommend Eternal Sonata (though if you have a PS3 as well, get the PS3 version as its an enhanced port with more content)
Also if you own a VITA, get Persona 3 Portable off the psp section on PSN and Persona 4 Golden
two of my favourite rpgs of all time, and also Legend of Heroes : Trails in the Sky (another psp game) is amazing as well (but it is extremely text heavy, but an awesome story)

sadly, only have a 360 and DS at the moment =/ I've got Lost odyssey, and I love it =)
I've been searching my local Game retailers for Eternal Sonata for some time - I'm yet to come across it though. =/

DS or 3DS? Because if 3DS, you cannot miss Bravely Default, that would just be unforgivable.
If fact every JRPG lover should buy a 3DS for this game!

Just the standard DS, Pokemon X and Y have made me interested in getting a 3DS.

Then you should, I think it's the best system for J-RPG right now :3
Fire Emblem Awakening is also pretty awesome.

A few people have told me that I must get one for JRPGS, I'm constantly hearing about good things on that system too. I'm not sure if to get the PS3 or that first though, they're both pretty cheap at the moment.

3DS is awesome
Tales of the Abyss
Fire Emblem Awakening
Devil Survivor Overclocked
Shin Megami Tensei IV (if you're in the US / own a US 3DS) really wish this would come out in Europe
Bravely Default is also a must
and Pokemon X and Y, can't get enough of my pokemon games

I guess they're both good arguments for 3DS - although I do really want to play the rest of the Tales games on PS3. I guess a 3DS first, as games will likely be released more frequently on 3DS. =)

I'd definitely go for the 3DS. Bravely Default alone is worth it. It harkens back to the Golden Age of Squaresoft. It's a truly beautifully done game.
And of course pokemon x and y ;D
I've always wanted to try Fire Emblem too.

I've always wanted to try Fire Emblem too.
It is a very good game, not the best story In the world but its fun and the gameplay is quite challenging if you go above normal difficulty
I just finished episode 2 season 2 of the walking dead game earlier (came out a couple hours ago), and oh my I loved I loved it I loved it!! I want episode 3 naow!!

I'm planning in doing a live stream on Saturday night Australian time. The games I'm considering streaming are:
Mass Effect 1
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Fable III
Fallout New Vegas
Star Wars Jedi Academy
That's a long livestream session if you're going to do each game. If only one, I have a hard time picking between ME1 and DX:HR

Would be funny to watch though, see how long a level 1 lasts xD

Level 1 cub would need a ton of ammo to bring down a baby. I wonder how many times that cub would need to unload their pistol to kill the alpha (or queen/mother/whatever the most powerful one was at the quarry).

I think you'd probably die before you got that chance, it would be a one hit kill from them xD

But you could possibly exploit the mechanics to effectively render them immobile. Like going somewhere where they are unable to go.
