Steam Sales are terrible, I've spent so much money on steam T___T
well thats depressing just used that steamgauge website to work out how much money i've ever spent on Steam, though I don't think it counts sales prices but the original price set
"Over the last 5 years, you've spent 1528.5 hours playing this selection, which includes 136 items, is valued at $2190.83, and requires 873.2 GB"
which I think is like £1328.26

That's not so bad. That's over five years, man. That's like 438$ a year, so not quite 40$ a month. Uhh, if my math's right I mean, then that's not bad at all.

I guess so, but its still shocking how much xD, and 1528.5 hours playing games....its been good ![]()

If you want to connect on Steam, I'm Kunari on steam with same avatar. Well, here is mine:
Over the last 5 years, you've spent 1404.8 hours playing this selection, which includes 74 items, is valued at $1410.34, and requires 592 GB

Looking at all those statistics makes me feel so small with my handful of games and 14 months of total steam experience... ))
However, I can beat Rauhel with my gaming efficiency!
I've got 160 hours spent on my 14 games (239$).

I'd rather not know how much I've spent on games. I'm pretty bad with MMOs and micro transactions. Steam, not so much.

Very nice there. That's where it counts man.
I've been trying to do well on dollar per hour for games. I'm not spending 60$ on a game that I'm gonna play 20 hours. I wasn't as good in college. I owned every single RPG that came out for the PS2. It got so bad that I didn't even have to preorder. The gamestop guy always had a copy saved for me. It was bad.

I've moved too many times to want to haul boxes anymore. I usually buy games on Steam sales. ![]()

Haha, yeah. You kicked my ass. I don't really know where my 16 games came from. I think all of the Civ 5 expansions are counting towards my total. Getting more out of the games you do have is better than having a huge library of games you barely play, so don't feel small. ![]()

I've mostly been a console scrub but I now have a decent PC. Most of those hours are from the last 3 months

You should check them during sales. I've got most of my libraries for -33% / -75% ( -90% in some rare cases).
Complete DnD pack on GoG.com was 20$, it had all NwNs, all IWDs, both BGs , PST and more. GoG is the best for oldies, imo. And it has does not require any extra client software.

I have played some of that 'Banner Saga' Viking game today. I think enjoyed it.
VAs are good, so is the writing. You have to read a lot, though. I can't say much about the overall plot and characters, because I had not discovered much yet. Tactical combat is not too difficult once you get the basics of those controls, stats and skills. The looks - like a well drawn 'classic' animated cartoon. I had already mentioned music - it's surprisingly nice for a game with such a budget.
I can't define the setting, it has that unique 'northern' touch, but it did not look like something based directly on existing myths or tales (at least not something I could recognize).
So far it's a mix of text-based RPG (with preset characters, but you pick the dialogue lines) and TBS.

Agreed, many of the games on my list are from sales "packs" that they do during the Steam Sales. It's cheaper to buy the pack with the bonus games and DLCs then separately.

I did try Dead Space 3 when I got it for free, I think if your by yourself you don't have someone with you, but if you do co-op then you'll have someone with you ofc
but its been a long time so can't remember xd

I haven't played DS3 but from what I hear the CoOp is optional, but can make it easier on some of the fights.

A friend of mine told me, that 3rd is the worst game in series. He loved the first one, he suggested that I try it.
