Plus you Austrians invented the Croissant.
I was born and raised in Palencia - Spain. (yes, Palencia, not Valencia; they´re different places) though now I´m getting hoosieriezed.
I'm currently living in Madrid and am planning to move to Brussels (Belgium) this summer.
Oh, I was born in Galicia (that makes me Spanish). We have bagpipes, good food and the most beautiful landscapes of Spain.

While I would easily agree, considering places such as Costa da Morte (Camariñas is beyound awesome); I have a crust for the calmed beauty of Monegros in Aragón and Millares in Almería.Catt128 wrote...

I think I might be able to be part of a contest, for once. Ironically the one that allows 48 of the 50 states.

You know what? I think we could have little flags in our sigs. Not the "Community / Non-Community" ones, just a little flag to identify our countries

I'm from a tiny town of 2200, smack dab in central IL, surrounded by corn/beans, that goes by the name of....
Farmer City.
Yup, my hometown is called Farmer City. Our slogan claims that we're the only one in the U.S., and I believe it!

I was born in Buffalo, NY. And grew up in a tiny suburban city that no one has ever heard of unless they live around here.(Even some of them haven't heard of it really.) And now I live in a much larger town that no one has heard of either, with a similar name to the city I mentioned. Still stuck in the suburbs around Buffalo, alas.

Not Tonowanda?
I was born in the northern Ontario in a village of 200 people (Port Loring). Moved south to St. Catharines and now reside most of the year in Fort Erie, just across from Buffalo.
