I noticed something amazing, couldn't find apicture but you guys can see for yourselves.

The Red Lyrium monster the party's fighting in the cave below Crestwood's Keep? It's wearing Templar armor.  :o
What could this mean? It looks like a Templar got really, really angry and there came Red Hulk.

They're called Behemoths, and it is the fate all Red Templars accept of themselves by using Red Lyrium.

Maybe the creature was under 'evil' Templar control? Would make sense if they wanted to protect their asset should that be the case.

Then why would it wear armor that looks like it belonged to a human and something burst through it?

So if I get this straight: the Red Lyrium slowly consumes their body and eventually turns them into Behemoths?

Basically. Look at what happened to Meredith. And that was just weilding a Red Lyrium sword. The effects of actually ingesting the Red Lyrium would be monstrous.

Then... why did these templars ingest Red Lyrium again?

Dedication to the cause? The extreme power boosts? Red Lyrium affecting your mind? Take your pick. ^_^

To enhance their strength and skills and magical abilities? I mean, if you look at the footage of the Red Templars (I'm going to call them Reds and yell, when I am in Val Royeaux: "The Reds are coming! The Reds are coming!") attacking Crestwood Village, you can see red bursts of magic coming from the templars and landing down on the village itself.

So, how long would a templar last before becoming such a Behemoth? I mean, if I last a good thirty years like the wardens I might take it, but I don't think Red Lyrium is that forgiving...

Considering the war has gone on at most a year and there are already Behemoths, I think not long. But then maybe it is reliant on something, like how much you ingest or how strong your will is or something.

Yeah, I guess it doesn't take at all that long.

By the way, how did you know about Behemoths? =p

They talked a little about the somewhere, either in a video or a post or something. I just remember that a Behemoth is a Red Templar who has succumbed to the Red Lyrium.

One thing I hate about watching that demo though.

The girl that is constantly having nerdgasms about everything and screaming in excitement. Maker help me, I can't turn the sound off because I want to hear what Mike Laidlaw has to say!

Sorry for double post.

Pause this video at 28:24 and look at the right side of the screen. There seems to be some odd structure of rocks there, like something's floating. Now what do you think that is? My guess is nothing really, but still.

Are you referring to the status in the distance?  I think that is the Colossus or the West Gate they showed as things you can accomplish.

Also, I to have missed the confimation about Behemoths being red lyrium templars.  I know it has been rampat speculation and all, but I haven't seen anything official, except for people posting that it has been confirmed because the images make sense to speculate that.

Also, if the flag is the Iron Bulls mercenary flag, that is troubling considering it appears to be on a red templar ship correct?

It could just as easily mean that the red templars hunt Val Shoth as some a great number of the more exuberant Templars hunted Muslims during the crusades and vice versa.  A Qunari skull with two swords under it doesn't necessarily mean it is a pro qunari flag.

But the other option is that possibly the Iron Bull is allied with the Red Templars,,,,,Would be  a departure from the info in the survey, but I could see it happening.

Well no, if you watch the footage you'll see it's on the small pier the ships lie next to, so not on the ships themselves.

Probably this. We've been analyzing pretty much every scrap of info we could possibly get our hands on and are in dying need of something new. Which should be provided next week, if the omens are favourable...

Maybe it's just me, but I think hearing all the excitement from the fans makes watching the demo much more entertaining.

About the building in the background behing the keep: wasn't there a rumor some time ago, that we will have to destroy a dam in order to get to the rift in the fade (which is under water and therefore at the moment not reachable). Maybe that's the dam.

I noticed that and so have many others, the most prevalent theory is that's what happens if you you ingest or use to much of it.

Also if you take a closer look at the red templar sword users and the bbehemoth's chest you'll see a glowing red lyirum sword symbol on both of them and in one image you can see it's face which looks close to the husks in mass effect i'll repost them since they didn't work

There's more images and some that show the armour but you can see the glowing red templar symbol on their chests and the behemoth has the same one.

Well, not if fans moan and scream because they see a flaming sword, rendering all other sound to be unable to hear for us because the one doing the moaning and screaming is standing like right besides or behind the camera.

Yeah, I guess that is a really plausible possibility.

Yes. If you look at the conversation between me and Hanako that pretty much covers it.

Again, I believe that is just fan speculation unless it has been confirmed somewhere.

I know, lol that was apart of one of your posts and got stuck there when I multi selected it then decided I didn't want to use it, then tried to delete it which didn't work at first.

I was having issues with either the forum or my cell or my browser which is the most likely cause. It made quoting, posts and image posting a little wonky, seems to be working better with firefox.

I agreed with you and posted those from my imagur account, after they didn't show up and didn't upload properly to imagur for some reason.

Everything out here on Scuttlebutt is pretty much fan speculation, other than the things which have been outright confirmed by Bioware employees.

Has anyone noticed the fact that Varric's hair (and even his chest hair) is now brown and not blond like he was in DA2?

In the video titled "The Combat of Dragon age: Inquisition", if you go to 3:03 you'll see the Inquisitor character fighting an Inquisition soldier.
