Maybe it was summer all the time in Dragon Age 2? :P

Vivienne brought in some hair dye from Orlais and Varric instantly became addicted to it, it's been stated as official lore in some tweet.

Looks like Red Templars either become crazy monsters from the red lyrium or die like Meredith did.

In the video titled "The Combat of Dragon age: Inquisition", if you go to 3:03 you'll see the Inquisitor character fighting an Inquisition soldier.

Nice find!Well, I won't be surprised if certain problems within our order will arise in the game.

Has anyone noticed the fact that Varric's hair (and even his chest hair) is now brown and not blond like he was in DA2?

Yes but it might stay that way or it might not and go back to a lighter color since Gaider was eyeing it and said it might change on his tumblr after Varic's character kit was revealed.

Are you referring to the status in the distance?  I think that is the Colossus or the West Gate they showed as things you can accomplish.

Also, I to have missed the confimation about Behemoths being red lyrium templars.  I know it has been rampat speculation and all, but I haven't seen anything official, except for people posting that it has been confirmed because the images make sense to speculate that.

Also, if the flag is the Iron Bulls mercenary flag, that is troubling considering it appears to be on a red templar ship correct?

It could just as easily mean that the red templars hunt Val Shoth as some a great number of the more exuberant Templars hunted Muslims during the crusades and vice versa.  A Qunari skull with two swords under it doesn't necessarily mean it is a pro qunari flag.

But the other option is that possibly the Iron Bull is allied with the Red Templars,,,,,Would be  a departure from the info in the survey, but I could see it happening.

honestly, it's just kinda common sense.... meredith turned into something, so it's just putting two and two together.

Interesting that there are combat parries in DAI. I suspect they're passive, but it's a nice addition.

A cross symbol. A bit christian, isn't it?

Old Slavs used cross symbol to block bad spirits and prevent corpses from resurection (so basicaly to block magic)
Thats why they didnt have problems with coverting to christianity

It's a neat shot, at the least.

I don't think parries are a passive ability but a player move, just like roll.

As far as I'm aware parrying has always been a passive ability in the DA series.

The roll is a talent with a cooldown. I don't see how it could work with combat parries. Beside, DAO had automatic parries too.

Then... why did these templars ingest Red Lyrium again?

This is an intersti g point. Meredith never ingested red Lyrium. Are the Red Templars ingesting it, or carrying it? Does ingesting it produce the results in DA:I?

I suppose time will tell.

Great work O_O

Thanks for all the infos =)

But I think they should (have) avoid(ed) the cross symbol.

While I'm fully aware of the different meanings, I dare say that most people will think of

Christianity when they see it - especially in a game called Dragon Age: Inquisition where it used

by a group called Red Templars.

considering they brought some with them.... I bet they are ingesting it. SO the effects may be different than Meredith. PLUS Meredith had an idol, not just red lyrium.

It could also just be supplies for thier weapons considering they appear to have red lyrium bows and such.

So we'll have to police our Order too? That's would be interesting,

I don't think it's that big of a deal, nobody freaked out about evil Templars in Assassin's Creed, or Deus Ex - and they were both roughly based on reality, not a fantasy universe. At some point you have to hope that your target audience are reasonable and intelligent people who can distinguish between real life and fictional organisations and symbols in a videogame.

...Fictional? what do you mean with fictional? Do you mean.. they are not real? @_@

Sorry ;-)

Well, I hope you are right - I would hate it if they would get a huge backlash just for that =/

As a fan of the real life Order, I am not offended by the Red Templars or their portrayal.

Ever get the feeling that the devs read threads like this and go:
"Hehehe they caught that...but missed this other thing!"

Also it is cool nothing how often they put tiny things in from trailers into the actual game.

I suspect that the parry and riposte move that we see is an ability that uses stamina and has a cooldown. In the video whenever the Inquisitor parries, he follows up with a big hit.

I've seen the video again it definitely looks like it's a player controlled ability, you can see the Inquisitor preparing the parry even before the enemy attack, like if you were holding "block".
