So after I FINALLY managed to load my saves yesterday I played for some time and reached Redcliffe castle. Nothing seemed to be wrong but I cannot be sure. Today I logged in without problems, loaded a save and at some point, while browsing through my inventory, I noticed a Blood Dragon Armor. Everything should be ok, right? I should have that armor and I had it before. The point is, it was in the chest storage. And it still is. Which means, I have now TWO red dragon armors (one in inventory and one in storage chest in camp), also a second un-used grimoire of something something (from the collector's edition). AND when trying to talk to Shale in a camp I have only two dialogue options - those from the beginning of her quest, as if I just met her. After I leave her alone the game goes insane, everything around goes black and all I can see is Shale and my character. I use Windows 7 and patched version of the game.

Soooo, what the hell? Anyone has any opinion on the subject?

You loaded a save at some point without the DLC, either via the Force Load method (it prompted you before loading the save), or via the DLC glitch, where the game does the same thing without the prompting. Then you made a new save and later loaded a game with the DLC reenabled, so the game treated it as if you had just activated the DLC for the first time. So everything goes back to their original locations, and it can't account for what's in the chest in camp so you might end up with two of them. Shale gets reset to a very weird state.



The safest thing to do is to go back to a save before the DLC was removed. Any save you made after it was stripped is bad, and can only be recovered using the developers console.

Sniff. All my saves seem to be affected. Thankfully I was able to fix Shale (found a solution here: http://social.biowar...120829/2#614120 ). I just hope it won't happen again and that my two armors won't bug the game anymore. Thanks for help.
