I never grab 2 guns, destroyer is the ONLY exception. I just don't need it.

An infiltrator shouldn't be swarmed at all. He/she has TC. Most of them has a staggering power. If he/she is swarmed he/she does it wrong.

If I was using a weak SR like the Mantis or Viper I might take an SMG, but it would be the Hurricane. Never the GPSMG (A terrible weapon).

When using the BW, Incisor or Valiant I never take a secondary (I'm too rubbish at RC for one shot wonders lik ethe Jav  :( )

The main reason a lot of noob snipers seem to go down is just failing to run away. They try to tank it out when surrounded.

Best thing is to run for it and pick them off from a safe distance.  :D

Since cooldowns are irrelevant to damage specced infiltrators I say why not bring a backup weapon? But a Geth SMG? Nooooo.

They're not completely irrelevant if your loadout is insanely heavy. A backup is usually completely unnecessary and sometimes the game decides you're just going to swap weapons for the hell of it.

i like the GPSMG. i don't use it on infiltrators though except my GI. it's hardly ever used (javelin is his main weapon) and i just like to have a sidearm to slap the power damage mod on.

SMG Power Amp mod only works when that weapon is being used. If you have it holstered, your powers are unaffected.

Any Infiltrator with anything other than a sniper rifle is scrubby :)

Maybe not completely irrelevant, but damage specced infiltrators that are firing or breaking cloak immediately after using it are going to have just under a 4 second cooldown even with maximum weight penalty.

I never bring a secondary weapon because I hate to switch weapon during a game. Well, on my Destoyer I can bring two weapons but not on any other class.

And you know what? I seem to do just fine with only one weapon.

Yes, over a year ago.

I stopped using sidearms due to a habit I developed on xbox: reload-canceling would often make me switch weapons instead, so I simply stopped bringing them. On PC it's not a valid excuse, but it's a more elegant way to play anyway. Not as messy.
