Why do Fenris have lyrium tattoos?

Lyrium is used by mages to amplify spells and enter the fade, Fenris only show that he can to put his hand into people like a ghost.

Danarius must have use some spell to trapped a fade spirit in Fenris using the lyrium as a prison.

So he's actully a spirit trapped in a mortal body like justice, but he is not totaly merged like Anders and justice, thats why he has no memories of his past.

And judging from his personality he must be a wrath demon.

And why didnt Anders think of that, it would have been the best dialogue ever.

Ps, i liked Anders more when he was a grey warden, and justice should have possessed a golem instead, thet are made from living dwarf so their is a body inside it.

The reason he didn't remember anything is because the shock from the lyrium impmanting lead to amnesia.
His abilities come from the markings. If he had a demon/spirit inside him, it'd came up when you bring him in the Fade.

Nah, you're reaching.

Some more lore behind Fenris' tattoos would be nice though.

Templar have lyrium in their bodys to but they cant put their hands into people, only spirits can do that and i'm sure those markings are seals to keep the spirit in the body, cause every time he gets angry they glow/activate to keep the spirit seald.

And justice only emerge in the fade cause he want to, he is not seald away in anders body.

And Fenris dont have any memory of his past cause he is not leto but another person, when strong memories in letos mind is triggerd Fenris can see it.

I'm pretty sure Fenris actually puts his hands through people in the old fashioned way... by breaking into their chest with his bare hands, thanks to the extra strenght those Lyrium tattoos provide. Isn't that how he does that lethal trick of his?

I know that the tattoos also have an in-game ability that turns him into a "Lyrium ghost" or something like that, but I always thought that those markings granted him some kind of super-strenght, hence why a kinda scrawny elf like him is actually a Two-Handed warrior.

Actually I believe the description of Lyrium Ghost suggests that he slips partially into the Fade when it is activated. I think that's what his "fisting" trick is doing, too.

Fenris fought for those markings, so he was clearly a skilled fighter. And I can't see why he'd change his fighting style when he's already competent. So, while the lyrium may help in that direction, it's probably not the source of his strength.

As for the putting his hands through people thing, I think I remember reading that you can intimidate a slaver by asking Fenris to put his hand through the guy's chest. This does no harm, but creeps him out enough that he immediately gives you the info you want.

I actually think Fenris grabbed his heart and gave it a bit of a squeeze.

I'm curious what will happen to Fenris in the long-term.

DG said, that he phases into the Fade and then solidifies his fist inside.
