Hello BSN... errrr, TBF. Or BWF. Or whatever the newly self-aware sentient AI hat this site has become is going to start calling itself as it tries to begin its quest for global domination...

Any reason I can't create new topics in certain sub forums? For instance, I can post in DA:I's Scuttlebutt, but not in the Fan Feedback forum.

Thanks!

You mean this subforum? I can post there just fine. I didn't see one specifically named "Fan Feedback," only "Feedback & Suggestions."

You are correct - I was going off of memory.

And yes - when I go to the Feedback and Suggestions sub forum, it says in the top right hand corner "You Cannot Post New Topics."

Have you played any Dragon Age games with the account you are using? Most of the game specific forums require you to have played one of the games while connected to the Internet.

Hi Jesse,

I have played and registered both DA:O and DA2. They show up under the "My Games" section. I am able to post in the Scuttlebutt section of the DA:I forums, but not in the Feedback forum.

I have found I can not post OR create new threads in that section.

I take it back - I registered copies of these games on the BSN, but apparently not through Origin.

Now my problem is - I have these games and have no idea what the "Product Code" is. I have them all for the XBOX 360 and I've tried typing in the Proof of Purchase, the Online Pass code pamphlet included and the "Become an EA Insider" code found on the back of most of the manuals. No luck with any of them.

I'm curious as to why the Proof of Purchase serial codes worked fine to register a game on the BSN, but the same code would not work for Origin?

I haven't registered them through Origin either Fast, but I'm still able to post.

Fast Jimmy can you message me your Xbox Gamertag? It looks like the account you are using here is not the same one you are using when you play on your Xbox.

For some reason, it seems I would be able to post in the Mass Effect forums and DAI general discussion but not the other DA forums. This is strange. I had DAO and DA2 registered on the old site, and they've carried over to this one (listed on my profile page), even though none of the icons show up under my avatar. Does it have something to do with the + and - signs next to the games on our list? The only one that shows up as + for me is ME3 though, but ME2's forum still gives me the option to post and create new topics.

I don't play online, so Origin won't be able to detect my games and register them that way. I only managed to do that for ME3 with a public console and a lot of luck, not going through that again for the others. I hope there's another solution.

I'm in a very similar situation - console player who never hooked my games up online. The BSN let you register with the UPC/Proof of Purchase, but since the new site is 100% through Origin, the only way they can update now is if you hook your console and game up the Internet until Origin picks them up from your 360 GamerTag/PSN ID

They required Origin to register ME3 on the old BSN too, but at least I could still post in the forums for games I had already registered with their codes. I wonder why they would change it now for new BSN when it's still aware of the fact that I have these games because old BSN told it so.

I can't post either in the DA2/DAO subforums.  I have an Origin account linked and both DAO and DA2  are digital copies in 'Origin My Games' but I'm obviously not getting through the gateway as I just get the 'you cannot reply' button.  I'm not sure why or what to do.  The games are listed under 'My Games' here too.  Any ideas?   :(

Damn those ninjas Jimmy but this is messing with posting in the Cullen thread and so ANSWERS must be found!

Actually, I also can't post in the ME threads.  I don't want to but as ME2 and ME3 are sitting in my Origin account  I rather think I should be able to.

Sister Goldring, can you try logging out and back in again? I looked at your account and you have the correct flags set but for some reason they aren't syncing to the forum here. Let me know if that works or not.

@ Jesse Reid or anyone else from BioWare:

Is there any way to make BSN recognize my games without playing online? DAO and DA2 have been registered to my account for years (before the online requirements) and my profile page still lists them, but as of now I can't post in those forums.
