I know this isn't BioWare's priority, but I hope there will be come cameo of the Crows and maybe Zevran in the next game. I've been a huge fan of  Zevran since the first game and my Warden joined him in his quest to reconquer the Antivan Crows after the Blight. I know, I know. What's the point of creating this thread? Just because I love Zevran and I think he deserves another cameo in the series. You can use this thread to talk about for your own cameos wishes.

@Mods: Not sure if there's another thread with the same purpose. If there is, please link it to me and close this thread.

Edit: Mmm... I would love to see Sigrun and Aveline as well. Two of my favourite female companions so far. Would be fun to see Aveline and/or Donnic in Dragon Age Inquisition and see whatever happened to them, if they're planning to have a baby or not... If they want to join the Inquisition in some way... I think Aveline's sense of duty  would allow us to have some interesting dialogues about her past with Hawke and Anders.

Possibly, I mean cameo threads have been made in a sense, but they've been aimed at specific characters from what I've seen, rather than just in general.

 

I think the main issue with these type of threads is they can get derailed very easily by the antagonists of cameo's xD

I would assume since the "default" world-state, if you choose not to create anything in the Keep, I would imagine that Sten would be the Arishok, (though I am assuming the default world state follows the novels and comics) whether he appears though is another matter, Though I would like him to :-) he is the ultimate badass

I mentionned Sigrun earlier, but Velanna is also a character I'd like to see coming back if she didn't die. I thought her character could use some development in the years following her involvement at the Keep.

As many former companions as possible.  No real must-haves for me, but it would be neat to see some old faces. 

 

• Wynne might be dead by now, but if not I'd like to see her.  Also, get it?  Old faces?
• Shale was a fun character and could still be alive, so that would be cool. 
• Dagna would neat.  I liked her story in DAO and with magic/steel being what appears to be a major theme in DAI, she could be interesting.
• Of course, what would a Dragon Age game be without a three or four way with Isabella. 
• For all his brooding, I managed to enjoy Fenis, and with the mage-templar conflict, he could conceivable be an antagonist, which would be an awesome twist.  Companion in one game... villain in the next.

    Or, honestly, even more interesting if he doesn't.
• The Warden.  The idea of a standard face for my Warden makes me a little uncomfortable, but if the story and character are good, I'll let it go.
• Hawke.  Same as the above.  This will be harder to let go, since it was more recent and I liked Hawke more than the Warden, but good story wins.

I agree that it would be great to see Sten again. Always kind of wondered what happened to Velanna after she disappeared as well.

I loved Sigrun, though from what I remember there only seems to be one epilogue in which she is still 100% alive, as the others either say she died/went mia, or went to her calling in the Deep Roads as a member of the Legion of the Dead

I'm a big fan of Sarcastic Hawke and Anders, but I doubt they'll ever come back. *sighs* I wouldn't mind if they used default Garrett or Marian Hawke's faces for Inquisition, if they ever decided to make their cameos. I like them both.

I'd love to see Leliana, Aveline, Sten (Arishok?), Velanna and Sigrun again. But I'd want them to appear only if they serve the story or the world. Pointless cameos for the sake of pointless cameos? No thanks.

I'm very much of the view of as few cameos of former characters as possible. I'd much prefer have references to them in the ambiant dialogue and codex entries dependent on the previous choices made rather than numerous hi and bye flybyes. Where characters are going to have a meatier role such as Leilana, Morrigan etc that's a different story.

Even if I get just a codex entry, I would love to know the state of some of the former people the warden and hawke met throughout their journeys

 

Also an odd question but I do wonder what some of the Bioware Staff would like as cameo's if they had their own way maybe one of them could post their ideal cameo's

Dagna! I just feel like she had some potential.

I mean if Sandal can do some weird unexplainable magic thing, surely Dagna can figure out why that is and maybe acquire some powers herself?

I would like a polite nod to Dagna, Just wondering since all the circles disbanded and what not, I do wonder what became of her T__T I hope she didn't die amidst the chaos

I think it's likely that we'll see Leliana again and I'd like that. I'd also like Loghain to have a cameo if he survived DA:O. I wouldn't want to actually see the Warden and Hawke, but it'd be nice to know what they've been up to, before the whole vanishing without a trace part. In DA2 Bodahn, for example, said a line or two about my Warden and Anora. I'm hoping for something like that again in DAI.

Personally, I didn't care for the way cameos were implemented in DA2, especially since they never bothered to patch Zevran's bugs, leading me to never want to do his quest. If characters from previous games show up, at least give them purpose, the way Leliana and Cullen had.

I'm sure we will see some cameos though, whether I like it or not, so I'd want to see the surviving Hawke sibling, Fenris, Isabela, and maybe Orana, just to know she made out okay after Hawke left Kirkwall. I worry about her.

And I really don't want to see Hawke or the Warden. Hear about them, fine, but I can't imagine a way to have them show up that would be satisfying or at least fun.

Having some of the characters return as cameos would be great in some cases, but could be rather annoying with some characters. Zevran was an annoying example of this as he really had no reason whatsoever to be near Kirkwall even. However some characters which should/could have a welcome impact upon the story could be very interesting additions to the game.

She's an artificer for the Inquisition.

Edit: It would also be fun to see Jowan again. I'd like to know if he got himself into trouble again.
