The Servant Elf girl from Dragon Age 2.  I'm hoping her time with Hawk helped her become independent.  Maybe a Bard character?

I want an Awakened Darkspawn to show up.  Preferably as a companion or an NPC.  Just something to flush out what happened after

I'm hoping that with the gathering of the Dalish clans we'll get a chance to meet up with Ariane again. Although she was only in Witch Hunt, she was a great character and it was hilarious that she could understand your mabari...

If she's not a cameo, I'll most likely have one of my Inquisitors be her. They never did give her last name so it can work.

I'm happy about the return of Dagna, others is like to see again are Merrill, Aveline and Sandal. I've got my fingers crossed for sandal as it seems like we'll be going to Orlais and there was a line in 2 with Bodahn saying the Empress had taken notice of his abilities, or something like that.

I want to see Sketch again in Inquisition. Why?

 

 

It's the closest thing to getting an accurate idea of what my Surana Warden would look like in the current art style for Elves.

Too many cameos can be a bad thing. I do hope we can meet Anita again, though. I was disappointed only Alistair was in Dragon Age II.

I'd definitely want to see Alistair, because most of my playthroughs had him as King or Warden in the end.
Zevran, because if he has taken over leadership of the Crows that could prove interesting and fun, plus it's Zevran!
Anders, or in the case of Hawke killing him, which I often did, especially if he was romanced (bitter? Me? Never!), Justice, because they/he played a massive role in the conflict.
Fenris, because I'd like to see what happened if he was romanced by Hawke (as was often the case!) or if he stayed stuck in his Mage hating ways, fighting against them.
I would like to see, or at least have the game reference my Warden and Hawke where it applies. I mean I would love to see them briefly if the storyline requires it (and if my Warden hadn't made the ultimate sacrifice), but if that was the case they'd probably have full helmets on or something to get around how they would look!
Anyone else who has appearances would be great, but not for the sake of it, only if they are necessary to the Inquisition, or add to the overall gameplay in some way!

I wouldn't want Zevran back unless there's a really good reason for it. He already appeared in both games and that's enough imo.

 

I'm really glad about the way they're bringing back Dagna and I'd like to see more minor characters that weren't companions back like Teagan, Feynriel, Hubert or Emile de Launcet.

I'd also like to see adventurer Bevin if you returned the sword in DAO.

Also if we're dealing with Grey wardens I'd like to see Stroud and Nathaniel with an explanation of what they were up to in DA2.
