Alternate scenario: the library of Alexandria isn't burned in 48 BC, destroying one of the largest wealthy of knowledge in the ancient world.

History continues on relatively as normal, except the collapse of the Roman Empire does not result in the Dark ages, but rather actually simply relocates Egypt and the Middle East as cultural and information beacons of the world. In an attempt to do a mass preservation of texts after the existing papyrus documents begin to deteriorate a few centuries later, the library adopts a mass printing technology, adopted from Chinese movable print technology, and created the world's first proto-printing press.

This ultimately results in an empire of trade and naval supremacy arising from North Africa that quickly dominates the Mediterranean. Due to the accelerated pace of history due to this wealth of knowledge being preserved, colonial exploration is begun in the early seventh century and results in the Americas being discovered in the early 10th century.

However, due to the lack of saltpeter found in Mediterranean geology, gunpowder and guns were never invented, allowing the Mayan empire at their height to repel the colonial forces and also co-opt their naval technology. Before the 12th century, the Mayan empire continues its apex and expands and dominates all of Meso-America, as well as huge swaths of the North and South American continents, using faster naval ships as a strong point in facilitating communication between its greatly-expanded empire.

This eventually leads to Egyptians and Mayans engaging in the first world-wide war in the 16th century (dubbed the Pyramid Passage of Arms) with allied support from the Gaulish nations in the former Roman Empire for Egypt, as well as the Ming dynasty of China for the Mayans. Despite never advancing beyond rudimentary guns, the nations were able to advance physics and engineering enough to develop both flight as well as nuclear technology, which ultimately results in widespread death, destruction and nuclear winter.

The End.

Alternate history: The United States invades Great Britain in 1783.

American forces, along with French assistance, storm London and other British cities, conquering them one by one. It's pretty much unargued fact George Washington was the world's best tactician in the Revolution, judging by his experience and battle record, and with the manpower of America and France behind him, the United States captures the British Isles and makes them into a puppet state.

In 1812, instead of fighting the British, American troops fight France and take them over.

Without European powers pressuring them, there is no Civil War.

WWI never occurs, with both the UK and France occupied by the United States, which now controls all of North and Central America

And thus, the world is under unchallenged American authority, ushering in a new era of American progress, capitalism, and liberty.

I feel that, as a species, humans are great. The only really drawback they have is that we are humans.

In the year 1671

There was a man who sold hats to natives.these headdresses had magical powers, only the man knew of.he would met the person and stay with them for a month.while doing so he enchanted the hats with what they needed and should have.so each person wouldnt realize the hat was magical.

after ten years of doing so, the man was killed by a Hawk, who stole a hat of his and was wearing it.

Britain retains absolute monarchy into the 19th century and Princess Victoria, daughter of Queen Victoria is heir to the throne. As in real life, she marries Kaiser Frederick of Germany and gives birth to a son, William, prince of Great Britain and Germany. Vicky ascends the throne as Victoria II, and upon her death is succeeded by William V of Great Britain, uniting the British Empire and German Reich.

World War I never occurs and Europe is united under the Anglo-German union well into the 20th century, before war breaks out with Russia and causes global strife.

Not at all. The same laws of physics would still apply. The 24 hour day is not a constant in our universe.
